My mom saw it while on our way to our Airbnb, on Friday and said she wanted to check them out, after our way back home today (Sunday) and we’re so pleased we did! It definitely gives it, “like you’re back at home, visiting family” atmosphere.
Kevin takes the order (if the order is big, also with the help of his mom!!!) and then brings it out to you, offering to get your drink for you, also with a napkin, utensils and sides of red or green chili— I’m a sucker for both, but the green chili is my favorite! The red chili is really good, too!
I shared with him that we’re visiting from AZ. He then shared that it’s his mom’s restaurant and they were up the road for 6 years, before they moved over here, at this current location, and that they really liked this location, because it’s more spacious for everyone, including customer parking!
The food was really good and well priced for the serving size! Just the only thing I was shocked about, was soda for $2.00, whereas the bottles of Gatorade/Snapple were $2.75, but it was all worth it! Highly recommend!
I definitely will be back when visiting this side of Cali!!!!

Such a great spot for delicious food. Ordered a few street tacos, and rolled tacos. All were tasty and of quality. Friendly service, too. I’ll definitely get food from them again when I’m back in the area.

Ordered street tacos (lengua, cabeza, barbacoa, al pastor) and Carne asada Fries. All the food was really good. Fries were still crispy even with all the sauces and meat juices on top. Great for stop overs when visiting the casinos.

Absolutely amazing. Looks like a hole in the wall and they put effort and passion into the food. Best chilaquiles I’ve had in a LONG time. And the chili was amazing. They cook their eggs just right. Stop by here I recommend you try it .

Excellent! I ordered the barbacoa lunch special and it was extremely soft, flavorful and honestly, perfect. 2 tortillas per taco which allowed me to make 2 bean tacos. Yes, I’m a fatty, lol. The rice was good but I don’t really eat rice and it wasn’t good enough for me to finish it. Definitely coming back. And look at the napkins! They have hummingbird’s and birds of paradise flowers!!!!!

Food is good, unfortunately the prices are high. Now the menu I posted with my review is a old menu. I had a California burrito which use to cost $8.45 is now $9.95. So I guess have to fine a new place to buy Mexican food thats easy on the pocket book.

Street tacos are where it’s at! You can’t go wrong with a carnitas taco cilantro and onions. They are on Valley Center Road now on the straight away.
