Painted Turtle made a nice little stop as I drove through the area, and evidently many people agree. It’s a busy place, especially in the fall. I just tried their hard cider and a little ice cream, but what I had was good. Their ciders tend to be on the sweeter side, but they’re still quite good. Their hopped cider was very pleasant. The ice cream I got was apple pie-flavored and was fantastic. The staff seemed friendly, and the outdoor seating was comfortable enough. I’d stop by more often if I lived closer, but it’s definitely worth a stop if you find yourself nearby.

It was the busiest I had ever seen it the day we went, but I was so happy for them that it was!! ☺️
And it was still great food and great service and I will definitely be back!!

This was easily one of my favorite places in the area. They had a bunch of animals outside that were very friendly, two cats as well as a dog (from what I saw at least). They didn’t bother you unless you went up to them, they clearly live on the farm and are well behaved. The kitties loved being pet.
The cider was fantastic, and they had a great selection. They also had a nice store inside to shop from that was a nice visit. I hope this place continues to do well as it was a high point of my visit to the city. Everyone that worked there was very friendly as well. As far as breweries go it’s one of my favorites that I’ve visited. A flight of four ciders to try was super cheap.

Their cider is phenomenal and I wish it was at more restaurants. I love that they offer flights so you can try them all. Their pumpkin donuts are pretty amazing. I haven’t tried their pizza yet but it sounds amazing as well.

Have had their cider on tap at other places and loved so figured I had to come visit. I love their Carmel apple cider, it was on their online menu and physical paper menu and they didn’t have it on tap… super disappointing. Another cider, Apple Crisp, was on their menu but not on tap and was looking forward to trying. Their cans of cider are $8, which is overpriced. Disappointed overall.

We had a great time! Food was phenomenal, the highland cows adorable. Hard ciders are a must try if you like cider.

Outstanding experience. Delicious cider, and a nicely laid-out area to taste and enjoy it in. Store has ice cream, some produce, gift goods, and dairy, like a delightful old-time general store might have. Lovely, intimate, small-town feel that makes you feel like a local. The cider was incredible; I highly recommend all the ones I tried (Traditional, Apple Crisp, Michigan Medley, Cozy Cabin, BlackBerry). I might have to go back soon for more Cozy Cabin (spiced cranberry) because I couldn’t stop thinking about that the whole drive home. Looking forward to future visits!

Fun family place with hard cider. Much of the food was just ok. The pizzas were excellent.
Lots of things for families including pick your own apples.

You can’t go wrong when a successful apple orchard decides to venture into the world of craft ciders! Several delicious flavors from sweet to hoppy, there’s something here for your pallet. The foods are delicious and healthy – I had a turkey Reuben Sandwich. The staff is friendly and had our food out quickly. Stop in and enjoy the great atmosphere and shop a little too for your fav breakfast eats from jams to syrups to sugar dusted apple, blueberry, or vanilla donuts!

The pizza was really really impressively good. The Cider gas been my absolute favorite for years. I come from Montana and take some back with me every time. I great spot to hangout for lunch and a cider. Could not recommend more. You’re missing out if you dont try it
