This the second time I have had a gorgeous meal from this place! I had quail this time around and it was grilled to perfection. I also got some of their lentil soup which came piping hot! My hubby got a lamb shank that came with veggies and rice plus soup. It was so tender and delicious!!
I would highly recommend any of their meal options as they do not disappoint. I plan on trying a smoothie from here next!

We customized the Family Tray Combo for five, swapping the chicken kafta kabob and tikka for extra chicken cream chops with tender beef shawarma. Shredded just right with smoky spices, the shawarma paired perfectly with the crispy, lemony fried chicken. Sides included fresh house salad with tomatoes and cucumber and a cucumber salad mix. Pickled turnips and onions added nice crunch (on the side).
It fed our five with leftovers, ready in about 25 minutes for pickup. Easy subs, veggie options, and great value (entrees $16-23). Pro tip: Try their ranch dressing for a creamy kick. Interior is very simple and clean.

Was looking for a dinner option on my drive home and came across Yummy Shawarma. Reviews looked good and I ordered the tray for 2. Such a hidden gem! Customer service was great and the staff were so nice. Every item remained hot by the time I got home in this snow storm. The portions are generous and the flavor incredible! Super happy to have leftovers for lunch tomorrow. Definitely adding them to my on-the go dinner options!! Didn’t have time to take pictures for the review, but trust me you won’t be disappointed!

Yummy Shawarma is a gem. Exceptional hospitality with excellent food. The interior is spacious with tables of all sizes, including large tables perfect for a group or communal dining. The food is prepared with so much care & love. Portions are very generous and the flavors are wonderful. Standouts include falafel, cucumber salad, kafta, and fried kibbeh.

The garlic paste in the chicken shawarma was so delicious! however I expected more chicken to be inside of the generous sized pita.
The texture of the chicken was fine but I hope that they will consider using the shaved chicken that’s commonly used for authentic shawarmas.
I was a little disappointed that the pickles were few and small…not thick and crunchy like I’m used to, nevertheless the shawarma was very yummy, and the customer service was outstanding! (which has become rare in the restaurant industry)
The dining space appeared to be clean, bright and large enough to be comfortable for those dining in. Only a few adjustments suggested, that could result in this being the very best shawarma spot in Michigan!

5/5 if you haven’t tried this place it’s a must. Small local joint that can easily be overlooked. They treat you like family the food is delicious. You can pay the same here as you do for fast food however this is much more healthy !
