Place is pretty good. I think $10 to get in is a little high, $20 on Halloween was really ridiculous especially with the wait time on drinks. I just feel more people would show if it was $5, especially since I hear people say this all the time. Can be worth it if the band is good.

For some reason people here form a line at the bar which kinda skews the entire concept of tipping.

Janine is the best bartender here by far.

I’ve been here a couple of times over the past couple of years and always have a pretty decent time. Only thing different is they need more diverse and up to date bands to appeal to the younger crowd! The staff is awesome and so are the drinks

The beer was cheap, the music was loud. If that’s your thing, you’ll love it. My only complaint, staff seemed too permissive. There was a man smoking inside, next to the exit to the smoking area, and two staff that clearly saw him, standing 10 feet away, and they did nothing. Also, there were clearly intoxicated people, to the point of being barely verbal, being served more shots at the bar, which seems like a bad idea. It was a bar with music. I didn’t find much there that would convince me it was worth the trouble to return, but nothing so egregious that I wouldn’t, should friends want to spend an evening there.

Fun, good bands, drink prices aren’t bad, small and have mixed ones. My favorite mixed drink is about all I drink and yet it’s so hard to find someone to make it right and they did an awesome job. The place almost feels like we live in a real City they even have an outside area for those that need that fresh air every once in awhile and that’s pretty nice. Our last visit I was a little upset on New Year’s I think they could have done a better job. There was a young woman that was so intoxicated she most likely had no idea where she was or what she was doing nor would remember it. I think she thought she was dancing but all she was doing was grinding on a bunch of guys. They would lift her skirtup and she would keep dancing and they were taking video, several men. I think they could have done a better job of protecting her from herself and others as there was a crowd around her while they lifted her dress up and videotaped her, and that gets a little dangerous. And those boys could have had a little more self-respect

Can’t beat this bar with a stick! They got everything for everyone. Want a cover band playing hits from yesterday and today? They got it. Want a DJ playing hip hop mixes of pop songs? They got it. Interesting crowd make it even more fun.

It’s a shame, this place used to be pretty cool but now it’s poorly managed or something. We went to VIR and had a WONDERFUL day at that great place. Then wanted to party some, went to this DIVE and got our ears BLOWN by a DJ that has no clue what he is doing to the customers. The music was SO loud it actually would make you feel nauseated. Not to mention extreme PERMANENT hearing loss. There was enough sound pressure to fill a place 30 times the size, very sad to have stacks of power amps and speakers for a arena in this small venue. Now I know the music is cool if it’s cranked a little, but people should be able to talk loud and still converse. During the DJ music we could not YELL loud enough. If these people would turn the volume down and try to actually entertain, it could be a huge success. Right near the VIR track that is growing in leaps and bounds. The night we went to this place it was a small crowd and again it was just rather SLEEZY.. I went here years ago when it was “The Flaming Star” and it was pretty cool. But now, take hearing protection and don’t expect any middle to upper class humans unless things change in the future. We were disappointed to say the least and the sad part is, this place could thrive if they played reasonable music, and served up some good food. It looked to us that all this place wants to cater to is the late late night deaf and dumb.

Lots of dress code rules. No hats with cowboy hats being an exception, no tank tops, and no chains worn outside of shirts. Great place and environment

I can tell you this place is a joke! We were at VIR race way they pumped this place up and what a dud! Out in the middle of no County and just locals come here very small crowd! I would not waste my time! Bouncer played some dIrty business! said we could go in cause we were about to leave then told someone who was with us he didn’t want trouble so he would pay?? Stay away from this joint! If you are at VIR go to there pub and say your self!!
