We only use Grade A chicken combine with all ingredients from South Korea. Season to perfection. Cook per order in 100% soy bean oil. We don’t have any heat lamp, and we don’t like to use that. Love this place…awesome food, friendly service. Forms a perfect complement to knee deep brewing. The K-Honey chicken is my favorite… I like the boneless version, but my family prefers the bone in original wings and thighs.
So much to choose from, but I’m stuck in a very comfortable and yummy rut of the K-Honey.

Food was very good. Chicken was crispy, well seasoned and satisfying. Bulgogi plate was a good serving size for one person. The rice was a bit hard (easy fix). I will order again for delivery/pickup or sit in.

Fried chicken was excellent! Kalbi combo meal was good and filling. Onion rings and croquet were yummy. I’ll probably order to go next time since tables are too close together and the table legs still hurt even with the pool noodle padding.

Saturday, 6/21/2025 – Tried TTObongee Korean Fried Chicken. Address is 2791 E Bidwell St, Unit 1100, Folsom, CA 95630. This is located in a large shopping plaza with lots of parking. Upon arrival…..
Pros
1) I saw tables outside and people eating outside. There are tables inside. We were the only ones inside eating.
2) There was an order kiosks right by the exit door or you can walk up to the cashier and order there. Cashier was very nice. We ordered and paid, then wait for our foods. They bring it to your table.
3) they also have party trays to order.
4) the foods we ordered were good. Maip Dak Chicken was a little too sweet for my liking, but it’s still good. Tempura shrimp and Sodduk Sodduk were good.
5) water tasted fine.
Cons
1) none
2)
Conclusion
Cute little restaurant. Simple. Easy to order, eat and go. Cashier was nice. She took our order and brought the foods to the table. There are plenty of stores in that area to shop after you eat here.

The fried chicken is fabulous. I luv the chicken wings. My two faves are the extra crispy and original options. The chicken is moist in either version you get. The original’s exterior has a classic crisp exterior. For an extra crunchy taste and texture, go for the extra crispy version. Both are not greasy at all, just darn delicious. Mmmm.
They provide complimentary pickled daikon. Which I didn’t grow up eating but sure do like eating it now. It’s crunchy with a very, very mild pickle taste. Their version is light on the pickling, so no sour taste.
They have other menu items. I recently ordered the spicy beef tofu soup to go. But for the amount of soup provided and at the price point, it is not much of a value. The sauces are provided so you can spice up the soup. The beef is thin slices reminiscent of hot pot slices. The tofu are large sliced cubes. The kimchee is more on the “less spicy” but still has the classic taste.
The dining room is small. Not ideal for large groups.

Tried this place for lunch. Got a bento box with fried chicken, japchae, rice, veggies, and a potsticker, came with a side of kimchi too. Paid $14 and it was worth it. Good amount of food for the price. I recommend the fried chicken. Its crispy and delicious.

Great chicken place! The servers kept mentioning how the amount my husband and I ordered which we thought was a little strange? But the food was great. The plates don’t have much meat, they are definitely more sides than protein, but they are perfect to get with a side of half chicken because of all the sides. The half servings of chicken are a little expensive though, so be prepared for that if you are trying to find a cheap place to eat. The sausage and fish cake skewers were delicious, but $7 for two skewers is a little much. They were delicious though. The japchae was on point though! Very delicious!

This is hands down the best friend chicken around. My go-to order is always the extra crispy full chicken. I’ve introduced this place to 5+ different people who also all confirm this is the best fried chicken they ever had. 100% recommend
