Fantastic food. Has great variations on old favorites! I had a hamburger steak with jalapeños, a great broccoli salad and delicious green beans. Nothing overcooked or greasy. Customer service was very accommodating Really enjoyed my experience here !

Service was great fast and got most our food together. We had a party of 6 and everyone ate together. The place had one table when we got there. We were a bit worried but the reviews were good and on point. If you are ever in the area stop in and support them. They won’t disappoint.

Delicious food. I had fried catfish. My granddaughter had the fried shrimp kids plate. My guest had the chicken fried steak. They have a wonderful salad bar and a sundae buffet that includes big chicken and rice with fried ribs. I wish I would have tried the fried ribs but i’m sure I will on my next visit.
Though it’s not on a menu, they do charge extra. If one of your sides is a salad. The wait staff was busy but very attentive, polite and professional. Looking forward to my next visit.

This place is literally a hidden gem. It’s very small so keep your eyes peeled. Great food! I had the Catfish and shrimp entree with black-eyed peas, fried mushrooms, and sweet potato fries. Obviously fresh! Great breading. Burgers were delicious too! I’ll definitely take my family back on days I want to splurge.

Following the recommendation of previous patrons, we stopped here for lunch on our travels towards Port Aransas. It is pretty much a ‘dive’ restaurant (with an outdoor port-o-potty!), but the food and service are spectacular! We ordered the J-Burger and the Gourmet burger, with fries on one and Cole Slaw for the other. Everything was fresh and really good! The fries were cooked to perfection – crispy like we love them! Our drinks were served in quart-sized Mason jars. If we weren’t so far away, this would be a regular for us!

The two of us were out exploring the Bluntzer, Tx area, and found this place on the map. What a pleasant surprise…a dive, but a clean, friendly dive. The shrimp tacos were succulent, scrumptious and satisfying. The fried catfish pieces were hot, crispy and nicely seasoned. The sweet potato fries were fried to perfection. We left wanting to try the ribs or burgers or whatever else that people were picking up to-go. The owners cared enough to come by the table to ask if the food was to our liking…YES! This is a very small dining room, with BIG food. We will return.
