This is basically a fast food joint. You place the order and wait for your number to be called to pick up the food.
I ordered a small haddock basket (one piece of haddock with French fries and coleslaw) and my husband ordered a large haddock basket (2 pieces of haddock with French fries and coleslaw).
The bill came to $40, which I consider pricey for fast food.
The haddock tasted good and the portion was reasonable. The French fries were also good but the coleslaw had a sweet taste to it.
There is an outside seating Pavillon which is quite nice.
We had to wait about 25 minutes for our food. We don’t think we will be back because of the long wait and the price.
The staff were pleasant and accommodating ,helping us walk through our order
The covered porch to side was nice. My wife ,dogs and I sat there and enjoyed our lunch.
While we were there , we saw a lot of people coming in for ice cream. The servings looked huge. We were too full for the lobster to partake Next time!!!
Shuckin’s Lobster is absolutely amazing. Tucked right at the end of the Airline (Rt. 9), it’s an easy in-and-out stop—just keep an eye out for the Route 1 speedsters flying by.
The food? Incredible. Generous portions, fresh and flavorful, with something on the menu for everyone. It gets busy (for good reason), but the crew hustles hard and keeps things moving. Be patient—it’s so worth the wait.
And whatever you do, don’t leave without trying the blueberry lemonade. It’s the perfect sweet-and-tart companion to a lobster roll or fried clams, and it’ll cool you right off on a hot summer day. Absolute chef’s kiss.
Friendly service, amazing food, and that small-town Maine charm that makes you want to come back again and again. A must-stop if you’re anywhere nearby.
