Employees were SO NICE even though we were there at 8:45pm just minutes before closing they still treated us amazing . We had been at crackin crab and I noticed the store and wanted to see what it was because I just didn’t like crackin crab. So I then had to get all the folks that went to eat dinner with me and went straight over to the house of chimney and it was Great… Very different BUT definitely better than what I ate for dinner…

I ordered the lemon blueberry dessert. It tasted so yummy and I couldn’t finish the whole thing by myself. However, I’m giving it 2 stars because of cross contamination. There was a peanut in the ice cream and I have a severe peanut allergy. It is unacceptable to allow an accident like that to occur. The tables were dirty and it seems they do not practice sanitary procedures common in the food service industry.

We saw this on Instagram and wanted to try it! It’s on the complete other side of town so we had to find an excuse to be over there. We had that today and were not impressed. We ordered a dessert and a savory one as well as a couple bottles of water and a latte. I misheard the order number and thought they had called ours, but he didn’t and the guy looked at me like I was dumb. Our sweet cake came out, looking beautiful and tasting good. We waited for about another 15 minutes before our savory cone came and I had to ask again for the water. Our savory cone came out very undercooked and looking raw. When we asked the staff if that’s how it’s supposed to look, they tried to tell us it was. I don’t think we’ll be visiting again.

This was our first time and I’m now obsessed!!! We brought our 3 daughters and their friends. We did have to wait around 20 minutes for our orders to come out and they had some issues with their ice cream machine. However, their communication was outstanding, they adapted and still gave us flavors we all loved. AND we had SO much fun playing games while waiting!! I loved the extra time we had to play and laugh with the kids. Next time if they aren’t packed I’m going to ask to delay our order so we have the extra time together again . We each ordered different things and all of them were so delicious! 10/10 would recommend here to anyone looking for a date night dessert, extra quality time and treats with your kids, or even just something special for yourself!

Today 3/2/25 was the second day opened it was very crowded at 7.p.m. the location is off Unser and McMahon.

All the messy deliciousness!! I love this place! This dessert does not travel well, however. If you go, plan on eating it there, when it’s nice and warm, and before the ice cream can melt. The employees are so sweet and very helpful! I will definitely be going back!

I really enjoyed the desserts here. They are like artisan ice cream cones. I’m not really sure why they’re called cakes, but they are delicious whatever you call them! We had a Mamino’s Tropical Fruit and a Chocolate Nutter Butter and a Tiramisu (not pictured). Photos are after we started to dig in!
The tropical fruit cone was out of this world. The cone had coconut sprinkles, it had a pineapple DoleWhip sort of sorbet, chunks of strawberry, pineapple,blueberry, and kiwi and a strawberry drizzle. No leaking or mess with ours.
The shop is really cute too. Only one very small suggestion is they should make free water available. Ice cream and sweets can make you thirsty and it’s 90+ outside sometimes. A self-serve dispenser with paper cups would be great. I feel like the prices are enough that I shouldn’t have to buy a bottle.
Also, there was a pretty steady stream of customers and we didn’t wait too long. I saw some complaints about that, but I think that’s going to happen sometimes with custom items. You’re also going to get inconsistency in how they’re made, which can be a bummer. Ours looked terrific and I hope they look as good when we go back.

Everything tasted good, however, we waited almost 30 min for milkshakes after we were told ordering a chimney cake would take 30-45 minutes. The milkshakes were underwhelming and we received 2 before the 3rd. The first 2 were very melty and had no thickness at all, and they didn’t have the decoration that was promised in the menu. When I inquired they said the franchise decided not to do the decoration, but the description on the menu hadn’t been updated. The chimney cakes we saw others around us receive looked delicious and very pretty. Staff was very friendly. Unfortunately, likely not to return which is disappointing because we live just around the corner.

Very friendly staff! Although understaffed at the time we showed up (7pm on Saturday). There were only three employees working and quite a few people in the store. We had to wait about 25 minutes for our order. When our food finally came out it was delicious! Unfortunately, the store is a little shabby. Dirty and beat up upholstery on the booths . Especially in the areas where feet hit the booth. Someone dropped chocolate on the floor and it was never cleaned up. The chocolate was just tracked all over the place. Tables were dirty. The toilet seat in the women’s bathroom is about to fall off and the trash can was overflowing. The lack of upkeep detracted from the experience.
