The place was really cool inside. I ordered a cheese burger with everything. It came out very quickly and it was freshly cooked. The burger was very tasty and good but the fries stole the show! I am not a big steak fry ki d of guy but these were fire! They were seasoned perfectly and fried to perfection. The bartender/waitress did an awesome job. We will definitely be back to try the plate lunches. Where else can you get a burger and fries for $9.53 tax included!

We LOVE this place! The food is amazing! The ambiance is perfect! The service is awesome! Brittany was incredible! This will become a regular place for me and my husband. I had the Fish & Chips and it was perfect and cooked fresh. The prices for everything are absolutely reasonable and expected for the quality and atmosphere.

I was really excited about this place and really looked forward to trying it. But we went on a Tuesday evening and they basically were only half open. I think they definitely have tons of potential but I was really disappointed going in.
Bartender was really nice. Service was good!
They allow babies but have no high chairs….
Fish and chips and fried chicken were decent but I have had better. –which brings me to my biggest problem. That’s all they served Tuesday nights apparently. We sat their drooling over the actual menu only to be told we can’t order any of it. We were planning on going another night but we were on a business trip and weren’t able to make it back unfortunately.
The place is harder than h e l l to find. They need more signs. We circled the block 3 times trying to figure it out. Almost gave up and kind of wish we did after all that work and being told we basically couldn’t order anything. But again from out of town and didn’t know where else to go at that point.
Ambiance is great though!! Super cool bar in a historic looking building and Irish music.
Free darts and board games.
So again this place has the potential to really be a must visit. But between barely any signage, information, marketing(Facebook), this was just a big miss for us. Hopefully their other food is better and hopefully they can help people navigate to them easier.

Ash’s Irish Pub is hands down one of my favorite bars. The food is consistently great, the atmosphere is exactly what you want in a pub—welcoming, lively, and comfortable—and the staff is absolutely amazing. Everyone is friendly, attentive, and makes you feel like a regular from the moment you walk in for the first time. I come here all the time and honestly never want to leave when I do. If you’re looking for a truly great bar with top-notch vibes and service, this is the place.

My husband and I went in for lunch. It is a little difficult to find, but I had an idea where the door was. I would have thought that the signs by the door would have been hung by now, but they are not. I personally think a green neon sign that says Ash’s with a cute little shamrock would look great over the door. The path to get in is a bit uneven. I could see a fall for some folks if you aren’t careful. Anyhow.We were greeted as soon as we walked in. It’s a cute place with a nice long bar. We both ordered a Blue Moon and then git the spicy pickles for an appetizer. They were delicious! For lunch, my husband got the Fish and Chips and I had the Bangers and Mash with peas. Both were really good!! There was some lovely Irish music playing, which I loved because my mom was from Ireland, and I heard it all the time in my home growing up. Our server was Daisy and she was very sweet and did a good job. Overall, I liked the place and our meal was tasty. I do think it’s a little overpriced, but what isn’t these days? I know the whole area is undergoing a transformation, but the feel walking up to the entrance isn’t great. It feels like you are walking through a construction zone or a back alley. Oh. And one more thought. Put some ashtrays or something outside because there are tons of cigarette butts everywhere. I do hope the place succeeds and only gets better!

So this irish pub is nothing super fancy. So if you’re looking for staff in tuxedos, shop elsewhere. The entrance door is a bit hidden, but the signs on the outside make it very easy to find. The outside looks like what an irish pub is supposed to look, simple. The inside interior is green and rustic, very Irish. Now, for the food, I ordered the Sheppards Pie, the mashed potatoes tasted freash, and the ground beef had no taste of being frozen. I’m so glad that it filled me up so I can take some of it home.

I got the shepherds pie the first time I came in and I really enjoyed it. I’ve come back multiple times and haven’t had another opportunity to even try it again. The next time or two I went the kitchen was closed, but I was trying to keep an open mind. This time I called before I went since I wanted dinner and a drink. Ash answered with an uninformative “hello” instead of letting me know I’d reached the correct establishment. I pressed on nonetheless and after confirming I had the right number I asked if the kitchen was open and he told me yes. When I got there I sat down ordered a mediocre overpriced old fashioned ($16) and was handed a food menu. I had my sights set on the shepherds pie already of course, but when the server came around she told me the only food they had was the catfish basket, fish and chips (cod), and fried chicken. It would have been nice if they had said something before I made trip over. As it is I feel like they withheld information to trick me into coming in and trap myself into a purchase before pulling the rug on me. And frankly what’s the point of handing me a menu when 75% of it is unavailable. Go to The Cove for a better whiskey bar and go to The Brass Door for an Irish place that actually has a kitchen that works.

Went here for the first time, pretty cool place, very nice drink selection, pretty good atmosphere. There is a bunch of outside seating as well as some good inside space. I did not have any food so cannot speak on that but look forward to getting back.

We stopped by Ash’s Irish Pub due to a post we saw on FB. I got the shepherds pie and my wife got the fish and chips. The kids each got the chicken and chips. Mine and my wife’s were really good. The kids didn’t love the chicken, but I don’t fault them. I was just glad they had something they’d eat. I had a pint of Guinness and they all had water. The $103 price tag was a bit high, but I don’t mind spending extra to support local. They still seem to be expanding so be ready to see some construction equipment through the doorway into the main part of the renovated building. Overall it was good, but pricy with a very limited menu. It would be a good place to go hang out with a friend or two for a few pints and play some darts on their cork dartboards.
