The food was okay…they have too many options in the menu and I felt like all the meats were frozen. We ordered a chicken bibimbap, it wasn’t great. We also ordered lemonade drink, its water down. The fries were also just frozen as well. A bit disappointed but again I’m having ramen in a small town in Mexico.
There were a lot of mosquitoes around dinner time, the waitress gave us a mosquito repellent. But it wasn’t pleasant to have dinner.
Service was great but I would not come back again.
Thanks!

Tucked away in the back of the courtyard is this Asian gem. The portions were huge and everyone’s dish was good. The outside space is cute and nicely decorated. The prices are reasonable and I would recommend a visit here.

This place is fantastic! We have tried 4 or 5 Korean restaurants on our travels around Mexico, and Chikatana is hands down the best. It’s perfectly authentic, nothing too sweet or out of place. Being from San Francisco, we know good Korean food, and this is it! We had the bimibap, the spicy green beans, and the kaarage chicken. All were delicious, but the bimibap was truly superb. Cheers to Chikatana for pulling this off in Mexico!

A great new setting for good Asian cuisine in San Miguel. We had the miso ramen (make sure to add a soy sauce-infused boiled egg) and the bi bim bap with beef bulgogi. Both excellent! Lots of outdoor dining space with art galleries and other shops in this great new location.

Tasty Asian fusion restaurant inside Mercado del Carmen. We love to go on Tuesdays for the 2for1 ramen, but I always end up ordering the Kamikaze Fries. My wife really enjoys the bibimbap dish as well.

From the perspective of an Asian person; the food does not taste like it was made by someone who understands Japanese or Korean cuisine. It was one of my least favorite meals in San Miguel, the quality seems very low and not good flavors.
I also was bitten up by mosquitos the entire time.

There are korean fried kimchi rice and kimchi pancake and some asian food this price is reasonable compared to another restaurant in this city.
Each price is 85 peso (kimchi rice) and kimchi 65 peso (pancake). It is not same with real korean food but similar and atmosphere and toilet is quite good.
It is in art gallery. If u miss asian food in sanmiguel and find reasonable price i recommend

Loved that I could take my dog and have dinner there. The staff is SUPER friendly, helpful and efficient. I loved the environment. However, the menu did not have much for vegetarians so I ordered Pad Thai which had basil, no cilantro, had mushy over cooked noodles and tasted like the sauce base was ketchup. Avoid the Pad Thai!! I was also disappointed they had no wine nor beer, even though beer is on the menu. I have now looked at pictures of other foods there and I will give it another try! One meal is not a good evaluation of the place!

The best Asian food I’ve had in San Miguel! Their curry and delicious General Tso’s Tofu had generous portions and amazing flavor. The courtyard seating is relaxed and beautiful. This place is a gem
