This is the place! We went today for an early dinner and had to order as much as we could. The wings! the hibachi the eggs roll I’m so excited to have found this place, new date night spot for sure! Would love a bottle of the Kume and Spicy Peach sauce.

The service was great, the young lady was really nice but FOR ME the food didn’t meet my expectations. I thought the wings would be like pictured, roasted with lemon pepper but they’re battered and fried.. and for some reason my rice taste scorched. But try it for yourself..

Very delicious food! The staff is always super friendly and helpful and we get our food pretty fast! The food is well prepared, seasoned well and very filling. The serving is enough to get full and have enough left over for the next day. We love this place so much! The atmosphere is very pleasant as well with outdoor seating and good music.

We loved our food! I’m gluten-free, and they were incredibly helpful and offered several options. We ordered the fried rice and the steak and shrimp hibachi—everything was very flavorful. The service was great. The only downside was a sewer-like smell in the restaurant, but for takeout, it’s definitely a yes!

This was my first visit and the food was exceptional!! We thoroughly enjoyed the chicken hibachi combo and the scallop hibachi combo. Don’t expect huge scallops but the meal was very flavorful!!!! Quiet atmosphere and the workers were soooo very pleasant!!!

I just had what I think is probably the best teppanyaki I’ve ever had in my life at a little restaurant named Kume. The rice was absolutely incredible, the egg roll was amazing, and both the chicken and steak were cooked exactly the way we asked for—perfection! Even the Coca-Cola had that crisp, refreshing bite that hit the spot.
The staff was outstanding—super friendly and genuinely caring, checking on us often to make sure we were happy. The environment was great, the location was convenient, and the prices were more than fair.
If you haven’t tried Kume yet, do yourself a favor and go. You must try this place!

The hibachi was delicious! The Kume Signature wings were up there as some of the best wings I have had in Nashville. They were fried perfect and the sauce was tasty. We visited at lunch and ordered off the lunch menu. The amount of food you get for the price is incredible. We will definitely be back!

Went here with the kids last night. We all shared a 16 piece of the house special flavor wings and we each had a hibachi plate. There was plenty of yum yum sauce and steak sauce (my favorite) which you could grab yourself. We had plenty to take home for later. They have plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. Parking is in the back of the building.
Pros:
1. The staff was very friendly.
2. Dining area was very clean.
3. Food was tasty! The steak was cooked how we ordered it. I liked my scallops.
4. The wings were large and piping hot when they came out. The wing sauce was sweet and sticky.
Cons:
1. I’m not used to paying over $100 for three people at a place where you order your meal and then sit down. The food was worth it, but my eyes bulged at the price. I shouldn’t have tipped 22% since it wasn’t full service.
Overall, despite the high cost, the food was really good. I would definitely get more wings from here but I’ll be more mindful of the tipping point.

When I walked in, I was kind of thrown by the fact that you order at the counter. I loved it because it just felt relaxed and like I could sit and work or read in that space and not feel rushed. I ordered a 6 piece cajun wing and a dinner size chicken hibachi combo which came with a drink and an egg roll. It was a little over $25 with a tip.
The egg roll came out first and it was perfect. The outside was nice a crispy without being hard. The mixture on the inside was great with just enough meat.
The wings were some of the most juicy wings I’ve ever had. They are fried in a tempura like batter. Then the cajun seasoning was sprinkled on top after frying. The seasoning didn’t really add much to the wings. It wasn’t spicy and didn’t have much flavor. I could eat these wings all day. No sauce or seasonings necessary.
The hibachi is about what you would expect from hibachi. This dinner sized place was probably almost exactly a square foot sized plate. It was huge. The sauce on the meat and veggies were good. The best part is that the zucchini, broccoli, and onion all still had a good crunch and weren’t cooked to death. Two adults or a few kids could easily share the dinner size.
The atmosphere was a little odd. I wasn’t sure what they were going for. The interior is kind of plain. And it’s set up almost café style with lots of seating for 2. Music was simply today’s hits from Spotify or something that had ads.
All in all, great experience and I will be going back.

Incredible food! We came in on 4th of July and got to chat with the owner, Ben, for quite a while. Wings are made with potato flour and gluten-free. Hibachi steak was very tender and melt-in-your-mouth. The food was very fresh and not greasy. Best Hibachi in Nashville!
