Staff are always friendly and the food has been good on many occasions however the past 2 times we have eaten here we have all gotten sick within the household first off. We figured we’d give it another chance…Beef and broccoli and general tsos chicken combos nothing crazy, However, the most recent time my wife found small shards of metal in her food which one ended up lodged in her tongue when first noticing. How this happened I have no clue but I feel compelled to review based on that fact. This review isn’t aimed just to steer business away but to also bring awareness to these businesses to be mindful of preparation and what you are sending out. My wife is a lot more upset than I am writing this but 1 star is the best I could do. We will not be returning.

I was searching for the phone number last night, and saw a picture of “orange chicken“. So I thought I would try. It is incredibly delicious! I’ve already told at least one friend and they’re going to try it too. It’s sweet with a little spice and shavings of orange peel in it. The only trouble is, is that it’s not on the written menu, so you have to ask for it.

The food wasn’t good. It was also 42 dollars for 2 combos and 2 cheesecake egg rolls and a small egg drop. The cashew chicken was all celery and onions. Barely any chicken. The sweet and sour chicken was okay, but the house fried rice had no flavor. Than my wife and another customer where talking about how expensive it was and the cashier tossed the card at her. Very rude place and food was not worth it.

I ordered the honey chicken with fried rice and an egg roll. The rice was dry and flavorless, the chicken was overcooked, tough, burnt in some places, had minimal sauce that tasted more like sweet and sour sauce that had been sitting out and flavorless, and the egg roll was a spring roll. Overall I’m giving 3 stars because I dont have food poisoning… which if I get I will switch to 1 star. Overall I will NOT be ordering again… even the copious amounts of soy sauce did not help the rice!

I got “fried scallops ” and shrimp fried rice. The “scallops ” looked like tape worms rolled up inside a battered shell. Not scallops! The rice was rice,onions and a few whole shrimp. The shrimp was good. The rest of it was very disappointing.

Mediocre Chinese food. It ain’t the worst but you will probably be disappointed you ate here! I am every time. Goldsboro has a real lack of quality Chinese n bbq places. Got plenty of both just not plenty of good ones. Jade is better!
