Finding a good burrito in Washington is bizarrely hard. El Vagon is the best burrito in 100 miles in any direction by a wide margin. The people are kind, service is quick.

I ordered the birra quesadillas, they were okay. Not sure I would order them again. Husband ordered the beef burrito and it was HUGE and very tasty! Well money spent! The side of beans that came with mine were soooo good! There was actual beans in it, not just pureed slop! So much favor!!! They also came with fried jalapenos and they were so good!! We will for sure come back. Service was amazing as well!

El vagon needs to work a little bit more on their carne asada seasoning, I ordered a carne asada torta and the bread was a little bit on the stale side, it wasn’t fresh, the carne asada was a bit salty, it was an ok torta but just for this time. My wife’s carne asada plate was served nice but the carne asada was not grilled it was fried and salty as well. The pepper I got on the side of the torta was delicious, it was breaded and it was a nice touch. Overall I still would go back to try different plates, since their menu is pretty ample and the customer service was an A+ and the place was very clean. Definitely worth a visit and a second chance by me. Enjoy and thank you.

Its ok now used to be better unless if my taste buds changed the meat has a different taste here. asked for steak they gave me ground beef or something cheap. 25$ and honestly taste like 5$. all those 5 star ratings are fake and need to be taken down

At El Vagón, where the wheels meet the flame,
Washington skies can’t dim the acclaim.
A boxcar reborn as a culinary shrine,
Where tortillas fold secrets and salsas divine.
Smoke curls like script from a poet’s hand,
As asada whispers from a char-grilled land.
The pastor, spun golden on a spit of dreams,
Paints pineapple-glazed verses in savory streams.
Each taco—a stanza, compact and bold,
Wrapped in corn parchment, a story retold.
Cilantro and lime sing harmony clear,
A zesty duet for the wandering ear.
The horchata hums in a cinnamon tone,
Like lullabies steeped in comfort alone.
And tamales—soft secrets bundled in skin,
Echo the warmth of the fire within.
The staff? Compañeros of flavor and grace,
Their smiles season the soul of the place.
Not just a meal, but a moment to hold,
Like sun on your lips when the evening grows cold.
El Vagón rolls steady, a legend on track,
With memories packed in each paper sack.
It’s not just a stop, but a sacred refrain,
That lingers like spice in the soft-falling rain.
So if you’re in Washington, follow the scent—
To the rust-red railcar where hunger is spent.
For here, the borders of hunger and art
Are stitched into dishes that stir the heart.
A five-star sonnet from tongue to bone,
El Vagón makes flavor feel like home.

I can’t say enough positive things about this food truck. They did a catering order for an event I was putting together. They communicated to confirm the order the day of, had it ready to go, ready to eat, extremely well priced, extremely friendly, and sooooooo tasty!!! If you haven’t stopped in, get over there now! And order some food for your next event– you won’t be sorry!

Their breakfast burritos are sooooo good and are huge! So are the fried jalapeños but sometimes there are still a ton of seeds inside them and stems still attached so that’s the only downfall otherwise everything is really good
