During my travels I got stranded in the middle of a horrible snow storm on I40 and decided to be safe and stay in moriarty, I stayed at a amazing hotel near by and seen this restaurant and was so happy we decided to eat here! The restaurant was clean and tidy, the waitresses and staff was absolutely amazing and the food was definitely 5 stars! They staff actually cared about my family’s well being during our visits and made us feel so welcome! We will definitely always stop here on our travels from now on. Thank you for all the wonderful food & friendship!

I have eaten here twice now. The picture I am sharing is of the first time, with the Annie Oakley. It is a burrito with beef like you would get in a Philly cheese steak, fries, fried onions and jalapeños topped with spiced cheese that tastes like American cheese with some non spicy chilies. It was very good, but it was huge and because of the fries did not reheat well. Get it if you have a mammoth hunger or share it. The second time I had the enchilada stack with red sauce. It was ok, not the best I have had, but good. The service both times was excellent with different servers.
It has a down home feel from the time you walk in as you seat yourself and people make you feel very welcome.

Quaint and full of small town charm. This was not our first option but it’s location by the highway and “drive-thru” made it our lunch spot.
Despite the large sign and side window, the Drive-thru was not in operation, this is a sit-down restaurant.
We could not find a menu online and went inside to order to-go.
No masks were worn by staff or guests *except us lol* which prompted us to look up Covid cases in Moriarty. Luckily, covid is almost non-existent in this small town!! (at the time of our visit)
Waitress was kind, good food and AMAZING milkshake!! I loved the hand written tickets and small trinkets for sale.

Why don’t managers do their work?
The water there tasted funny, the ice tea did as well, and the food wasn’t really good (burger buns were wet so they broke). The vegeterian frito pie plate was definitely the wrong plate for a frito pie. We ordered two appetizers and a burger with some drinks and our total was 42 dollars forty two.

Had good food here. The green sauce was definitely hot. I’m not sure if that took away some of the flavor from the food or if it was just a bit bland to me. But everyone else in the group definitely enjoyed the food, and I still cleared my plate! Service was great as well.

I will have to say they have the best bugers. Very good food and nice people that work here. . There’s enough room for a lot of people to park at. Sep 29th went into Chuck wagon again and had very good food here the waitress are very very nice and fast and very respectful. And to eat here for 2 people cost 26 dollars and 30 for 3. Great prices and it is close to the on and off ramp for I 40 the second exit for Moriarty nm. Please go here and eat .

We’ve eaten at Chuck Wagon several times a week for six weeks. The food is inconsistent in quality. Sometimes it’s great and sometimes it’s not. The last meal–hamburgers and fries–was way too salty. The cook redid our order, and it was fine the second time around. Their prices are high: $8.99 and $12.99 for burgers and fries. We want to be able to eat the meal and get what we pay for. We didn’t think being honest when asked how the food was would present a problem. But it apparently did. After we paid, the waitress told us the owner said to not come back again. We were shocked. The restaurant has few customers when we are there. We were surprised that the owner would say good-bye to our $200 a month we spend there. We didn’t want to make a scene and will respect the owner’s request. The waitresses are friendly and hardworking, the place is not crowded and allows isolation, half the time the burgers and fries are also great. However, we cannot recommend this restaurant until the food is more consistent and the owner stops banning his customers. What a way to run a business!

This is a good old fashioned Mom and Pop restaurant like you don’t find anymore. The wait staff is very pleasant and attentive, and more than willing to accommodate you.
They have a bit of everything for breakfast, served till 11 am. For lunch and dinner there is a selection of burgers, sandwiches, and entrees – and even a menu for kids.
If you want good old style cooking, without all the fancy frills, but with lots of great taste – this is the place for you!

Usually this place is good to eat. After coming in and wanting breakfast, i was told that the cook does not like making breakfast but she would cook it for us. The coffee was cold it looked like it had film on it and the young waitress told us that it was due to it being Moriarty water. We’ve had it here before and it was good. We finally get our breakfast which was steak and we were not given a steak knife. The steak had no flavor in our food. The hashbrowns were very greasy. No taste.
