We had family over so we sampled several items and Wow, everything from the hot Italian sub to the Spicy Seabrook Pizza were so unexpectedly wonderful, everyone was floored. Then I arrived to pick up food and Marley was playing over the speakers. What’s not to love!

We tried Locals while staying in Edisto. Despite seeing some mixed reviews, I thought this place was good. We ordered our pizza online around 5 and it was done around 5:30/5:40, which is reasonable considering the small number of eateries in the area.
We ordered the supreme and the Italian. The pizzas have similar toppings, but still tasted different from each other—the supreme pizza had a distinct sweetness that made it tasty. I prefer savory so I still liked the Italian better. You can taste the quality of the cheese and the freshness of the toppings. My only complaint is that the dough felt tough, as if it could have been tossed less.
This is a good option if you want an easy dinner, but like everything on the island, you have to order early or be prepared to wait.

Yummy yummy pizza and super easy to order pickup, they texted me when it was ready. Nice experience! We got 3 Large pizzas and loved them all- I couldn’t pick a favorite between them because they’re all so good. The sausages on the supreme were HUGE!

Pizza was delicious and was ready 15 minutes prior to schedule! I got a text when it was ready to pick up. Technically I ordered a supreme and got the sizzlin Seabrook but it was good anyways, so long as you like spicy pizza. We also got the Italian!

1.5 hour wait for a pizza on Father’s Day! They never said how long the wait was going to be when we ordered. Also gave a decent tip when we ordered the pizza. I thought that tips were for good service? When we asked about the wait they all of a sudden put up a white board sign indicating a 1.5 hour wait. Shady business practice IMO. We probably received our pizza in about an hour but didn’t appreciate the lack of transparency. Pizza quality was fair, I like to support local businesses but this was not a good experience. I think would not come back unless I didn’t have another option

We wanted something different than seafood and decided on pizza. We called to make sure they were open. It was just a very short drive from our cottage. We called in advance to order and waited the said time before going to pick up. Payment is expected in advance which was fine for us. Evidently people have a habit of ordering and not picking up so (to me) this is the perfect solution to keep this place running smoothly. The owner was extremely nice to my son on the phone. We had two large pizzas and each were soooooo good. There is a lot of cheese on top and lots of toppings. It was one of our best meals in Edisto ( we usually cook our own) and there was a coin toss to see who got the left over pizza. Great food. (I think it is takeout only – my son picked up so not sure….).

We waited an hour for our pizza. It was not what we ordered. It was also not cooked. So, I had to remove half of what was on the pizza, add cheese and cook it after paying $63.00 for 2 mediums. It tasted like crap! I would eat any frozen pizza over this pizza place any day of the week!!!!

Wanted a night off from cooking while on our family beach vacation, and Local’s was just a couple blocks from our house. Great choice – ordering was easy, got finished quickly, and the pizzas themselves were awesome. Always nice when pizza isn’t cigarette-ash encrusted wood fired bogus that are everywhere these days. These are just good, classic pizzas. Lots of cheese, lots of toppings, generous slices. We got supreme, pepperoni, and cheese, and fed 10 or so. Save yourself the trouble and drop by Local’s on your next trip down.
