The food we had was delicious. We ate early (4pm) and when we first arrived I must admit I was a little hesitant. Only one server was working, whose name was PJ. But he was very nice and helpful and did an excellent job. The portions was very generous and the flavors were very authentic. Would definitely go back if I’m that way again. Recommend anyone to give this restaurant a try!

The atmosphere is so overstimulating. There was a speaker near our table playing music that just sounded like noise. Then on the other side of us was the kitchen with a different loud music playing along with someone singing loudly and whistling. I thought a margarita would help but that was lousy. Tasted like a limeade and had regular table salt on the rim. Worst Margarita I’ve ever had. We both got a taco salad with beef. Very little beef and a lot of soupy beans that made the whole thing just tasteless slop. The pico had no cilantro and too many peppers and not enough tomatoes. The salsa was watery and loaded with black pepper. The service is like Waffle House. Literally yelling at each other across the restaurant. Taco Bell is better!

Just tried this new restaurant and am pleased to say that the food was very good and the service was excellent. They have some options that I haven’t seen on most Mexican restaurant menus. My girlfriend had a Hawaiian chicken quesadilla, and it was large enough for two people. My husband said his chicken burrito was very good. I ordered the taquitos, and I’d never seen them prepared as they are in the picture. They were quite good. I liked that each person got their own dish for salsa. The interior is nicely done and appears clean. There seems to be plenty of parking. I recommend giving them a try. UPDATE: I’ve been a few times now, and service is generally good. I was disappointed today as they didn’t get my order correct, and the cheese wasn’t even melted inside my enchilada. Also, even though I didn’t get the chicken I asked for in my taco, the ground beef was tasty.

The food was very tasty, the waiters were friendly, our food came out super fast and well prepared, the place was clean and comfortable, just the drinks. My husband ordered a long island and it tasted like juice, but we are happy with what we opted for. I recommend pollo con crema, it is very good

I ordered a topshelf drink first of all they didn’t measure the alcohol second the put topshelf liquor an house liquor in it I tasted the drink let him know immediately that it wasn’t right his mom came said it was I told her it wasn’t told her the liquor content wasn’t right she said they can’t return liquor I told her make another one or give me something else she walked away an Noone came back for over 25 to 30 min never came to see if the food was ok or did need anything else I asked the guy busting tables to get the bartender reminded her drink wasn’t right it literally sat there waiting she told me to pay or call the cops I waited for cops explained everything to them meanwhile like I told them everything was on camera that’s why I stayed so they couldn’t move anything or do anything else to the drink if it wasn’t for my best friend I would be in jail he paid it the officers were very friendly an understanding but told me still had to pay I was goin to jail if it’s not right an you don’t drink or eat an you let the staff know immediately something should be done to correct it Monday morning I will be contacting the owner I would never spend another penny there an everything is on camera an can be verified tell them show footage of the bar around 745 to 8pm Friday night 2/6/26

This is a very new restaurant, and I’m happy to hopefully leave the first review. First of all, the outside is quaint and does not overdo the signage. We were greeted immediately after entering the door. The decor was perfect. It provides for a great ambiance and cultural feel. The food is next. It was terrific. It arrived hot and had amazing flavor. I had the tacos al pastor, and they didn’t disappoint. The spicy salsa was the best touch. So comparing to Mamasitas, I would visit here again soon. Mamasitas seems to have grown too quickly and has forgotten their base. The only reason for the less than 5 star review was the service. Our waitress seemed bothered, had little personality, and did not check back as expected. She captured the order incorrectly, and the owner came to the rescue. I understand the workforce is limited in Edenton and surrounding areas, but this should be corrected soon. If not, there will be more unhappy customers. I’m personally very excited to have an alternative to Mamasitas and hope the best for this restaurant. They must, however, correct the wait staff issue. If I were to visit again and had the same waitress, I would walk out. All the other wait staff were so personal and friendly. Sad there is 1 bad seed.

Everything my boyfriend and I had were flavor bombs! I love finding a restaurant that I don’t want to quit eating because the food is so good! I should have stopped two bites sooner but I couldn’t! Going back next weekend for my birthday!

The worst experience I’ve ever had. My coworkers and I stopped here for dinner. We ordered the cheese dip first which wasn’t warm at all. I told our server and she said I don’t know what to tell you but I can warm it up in the microwave. I’m like okay. The food comes out and in my coworkers salad is a fruit fly in the sour cream. I told the server and her response was there’s fruit flys in every restaurant I hate to tell you. She didn’t offer to replace it. We are leaving and she brings the checks. We give our cards to pay and one of my coworkers go outside to the car to get a cash tip. The server comes out behind us yelling not to come back because her exact words were, do not ever come back here again because I busted my ass for you guys and you didn’t even tip!!! She didn’t even give us a chance. Trust me you will never get out business again. I promise you that.
