The employees were extremely friendly and provided great customer service. The food is prepared fresh, do you might wait a few extra minutes. My husband ordered the PO’Boy shrimp sandwich and I ordered the fried Catfish basket. Food was ok, extremely greasy for my taste, so I could not eat my food, hubby ate his sandwich but said the shrimp were also on the greasy side.
Service makes you feel welcome and you can tell they build a relationship with their customers.

I eat here often and usually don’t have any issues. Had 1 issue previously and it was corrected promptly by management. Placed an online order last night and it was completely wrong. One order was garlic butter hot with green mussels and the other juicy special no spice with black mussels. They gave us garlic butter no spice with black mussels and juicy special hot with green mussels AND put both corns in the bag with the hot seasoning. One person couldn’t eat the corn because it was now too spicy and the other couldn’t eat their boil because it was too salty with the juicy special. Called to try to correct it this morning because they were closed by the time we realized it was all wrong. They are only offering to give a free piece of corn and refusing to put me in contact with the manager. It would be one thing if the corn was the only issue, but the ENTIRE order being wrong and no option to correct it is ridiculous. They will only fix it if the seafood boil is returned untouched. How would we even know that the flavors were mixed incorrectly AND put in the wrong bags if they were untouched?? We eat here often, but will go back to traveling out of town for seafood if clear mistakes can’t be corrected.

Doesn’t look like much, nothing fancy, but AMAZING food!
Coconut shrimp app was really good, sweet potato fries cooked perfectly, flounder po’boy needed a little extra sauce but really yummy! Flounder & fried oysters were perfect. (Not over fried, not chewy nor rubbery.) Only complaint: I ate too much!
Overall, 5 stars! Will I make the hour drive to eat there again? Absolutely!

The food and service was awesome! We tried four different items on the menu and they were all excellent. The staff was very patient and kind. I highly recommend this place, please take an opportunity and visit.

Juicy Seafood is just the place I have been looking for in a long time. They have great seafood and other items in their restaurant. We have already been there twice, and we have both enjoyed our seafood platters we ordered. We did a take out order, and when we picked it up, they gave us a really nice bag that had their restaurants logo and kept the food very warm. I ordered the crab legs and lobster and got corn and sausage in the plastic bag, all tied up with the butter I chose for them to cook it in. Very delicious.

It was our first time visiting Virginia and came across this restaurant. This restaurant did not disappoint!!! The boiled seafood is a must, especially the Boiled shrimp with GARLIC BUTTER-mild spicy. I should have tried the Medium spicy too. Head-on shrimps were humongous!!! I tried some of the shrimps with shell. And it also has good flavor. Then the headless shrimp is also good because it absorbed the flavor. I love garlic and, so the garlic butter was perfect. You can see the garlic bits in it. I wish i took a photo of how I basically used the shrimps/and corn as “spatula” to get the flavor. I’ve eaten alot of boiled seafood from the south, like around New Orleans/Louisiana and Mississippi, but hands down, this restaurant has the best Boiled Shrimp with Garlic Butter. If I go back to VA, I wanna go back here….with my ricecooker… (they don’t have steamed rice). Still would give them 5/5… as that is how much I enjoyed the food! Oh, it came with corn and potatoes.

This was my first visit and I was not impressed. I ordered the spring rolls, when they came you knew they had just come out of the fryer as they were to hot to handle. However, the amount of grease was terrible. If all of their fried food is this greasy I won’t be stopping very often. I will give them another try with something not fried.

Well, know that you won’t be disappointed in your meal or service. The Poboys are top notch no matter which one you choose. To address the GUMBO in the room. It’s a [spin] on the New Orleans style. However, it’s flavorful and worth a try with one of their salads for a light lunch that won’t have you nodding off during a meeting. And worry about the Seafood Boil mess they got the table covered (Bib not included) 😉
