Before coming here, I wasn’t sure whether to expect something that was authentic but unnecessarily expensive. However once I came and tried some of the coffee, pizza, and cornetto, I ended up liking it a lot!
Definitely worth stopping by to grab coffee and something that isn’t just the usual breakfast-sandwich quick meal.

Never had any pastries or sandwiches as I only come for espresso after lunch when in the area. Thank you keeping machiattos consistent and authentic in NJ.

Big bright & charming space. The coffee and focaccia are delicious and fresh but the biscottis are too hard, almost broke a tooth (I’m not joking) and the cornettos ( Italian style croissants) need improvement, they are more like big buttery brioches than actual croissants, not appealing at all.

Delicious! I have so tried two locations of Prato. The 4th street location and this Bay St location. Excellent service and delicious food! The layout of the store is strange but It’s certainly a hidden gem. I had the La Cremosa Sandwich with spicy sauce. I also ordered the Olive focaccina. The olive focaccina was dry and nothing special but the sand which was AMAZING! Thank you-

I went to work from on a Friday afternoon and ordered the iced Nutella Latte, which one might say is something they advertise as their signature drink. It entailed covering the coffee cup in Nutella and throwing some milk and espresso on ice. The taste was not great to say the least and it’s probably the worst Nutella latte I’ve ever had

I first went to their 4th street location and loved it. Today I went to their new Bay st location and loves it too. The focaccia bread is delicious. The sandwiches creations are delicious. The location has a bathroom and no parking, street parking only. I do find the price on the sandwiches a bit high but it’s Jersey City. They have a few imported Tuscan goods and I found an herb salt blend from Tuscany’s most famous Butcher Dario Cecchini. You know, the one that recites Dante and is in like every travel/cooking show. I definitely recommend.

Stopped here on a whim to do some work. Great choice by myself if I say so myself. Coffee was delish and the bakery was a 10/10.

Their pistachio cream and americano are the best I have ever had. Other sandwiches and pastries are tasty as well. Service could be a bit slow at weekends but I’m also happy to see that so many people love this place as much as I do!

Love this spot for coffees and lunch! Chai latte is delicious. Good cold brew. Have non-dairy milk options (wooo!) The food is great too – little pizzas, Italian cookies. Lots of space to sit inside and eat. Clean. Highly recommend.
