Fuji Sushi Steakhouse is a nice spot in Sarasota and a place we would visit again. The sushi was fresh and well made, with good flavors and neat presentation. We also tried the hibachi, which was enjoyable and cooked well.
The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere felt relaxed and comfortable, making it good for both casual dinners and family outings.
The only small downside was that the portions felt a bit modest for the price. The quality was good, just wish the servings were slightly larger.
Overall, a solid restaurant with good food and consistent quality. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in Sarasota and looking for sushi or hibachi.

One of my absolute favorites is the Sunrise (appetizer)—fresh sashimi, creamy avocado, and sweet mango come together in perfect harmony. It’s vibrant, balanced, and unforgettable.
The restaurant is spotless, the atmosphere is calm and welcoming, and the prices are totally fair for the quality you get.

Fuji was an absolutely awesome experience! The sushi was awesome! We have 5 kids and the staff were all super awesome with our kids too. Chef was great. We got the Dragon Roll, Godzilla (amazing), king kong, and chirashi along with crab rangoon. Everything was excellent!

We have been to Fuji 3 times now and we just love this place. The food is amazing and the presentation is stunning. The staff are friendly and always on top of making sure you have everything you need. They have a huge selection of both raw and cooked sushi and the dinners are very tasty. The only negative is the fruit flies. We had a couple pesky visitors each time we were there. Nonetheless, this will certainly be our top of the list places to eat out.

We stopped by for lunch today for the first time. Food here was really good. I had Chirachi lunch and the fish was fresh. Gyoza was really good also. Tuna lover roll could add a bit more spice.
