Food was pretty good. First time eating here and the family that runs the restaurant were nice. I loved the samosa and the garlic naan. Only wish the lamb curry portion was more, otherwise it’s still yummy. The chicken was okay, seemed like something I could’ve made at home. Overall I enjoyed the food.

Everything was excellent! Went with Tandoori Chicken and Lamb Curry (definitely suggest requesting hot and spicy). There was only one person working, but she did an excellent job of taking orders while cooking and serving. A nice surprise inside a gas station!

I was very disappointed with the tandoori chicken. It is not at all authentic. It is covered in some kind of brown paste and is clearly not made in a tandoor. It should be red in color and not covered in paste. Instead of serving it with a mint chutney or coriander sauce, it was served with prepackaged buttermilk ranch. I do not recommend it at all.

I was in the mood for some Indian food so Colo me surprised when I saw Ekams near me when I looked up Indian food! The restaurant is connected to a gas station but don’t let that fool you! It’s a nice little place with great service to boot and feels like a GOOD added on restaurant to the gas station. The restaurant itself was pretty spacious, easy to move around in and very clean on the inside and out. The service, who was one friendly lady I HOPE was not working alone was quick with service, polite, and very nice to talk to. The food was excellent on all ends. I got some hardy chicken Tika Misala, rice, Samosas, and naan bread woth this great chickpea dish and ALL of it was scrumptious, fresh and tasty as all heck. No complaints, Ekams is a great restaurant despite being attached to the gas station and I hope to visit it one again in the future!

Pictures are the best I could take of the inside and outside of the building minus the gas station entrance, menu, and food!

Tandoori chicken was nicely grilled with a bit of heat. Lamb curry (requested hot and spicy) was nice and tender. Definitely excited for another visit to try the rest of the menu.

Located in the gas station building, it’s a bit out of the way. Home style food is quite good but a very linited menu. I had curry pakora with rice. This is a one person operation so there’s a little wait, but worth it. As is the times, it’s on the pricey side with just one, larger, on the crispy side naan as an extra. I had to ask for a glass of water. Drinks are limited. One doesn’t come here for the atmosphere. Parking in front is a bit confusing with both spots marked and no parking message over the lines. Tip jar. She takes credit cards.

Excellent food. The smells bring back fond memories of Bangalore. A bit more spicy than I remember.

Super friendly worker and owner. Top notch Indian food. Not busy. Great way to support a local small business owner. Hole in the wall has the best grub. Definitely worth visiting once or twice a month.

Extremely small portions and insanely overpriced! The garlic naan was SOO hard and inedible. Two orders of the naan only gave you 2 SMALL pieces of naan, which other places give you two per order. Sooo sad Jays is closed on Monday, never again with this place. $40 later me and my kids are hardly fed and my fiance had to burn a frozen pizza instead. Jays would never.
