I was coming from Harrison NY. I noticed Big Jerk Jamaican restaurant in Saw Mill River Rd, Elmsford NY, it has been a long time since I had Jamaican food, I want to try this new place. I decided to get some breakfast, when I walked in, I said good morning the young lady, she didn’t respond, she wasn’t friendly, she just asked me what I want to order, I placed my order, took the bag, when I took the lid of the bowl, I was very disappointed the food was very greasy and tasteless. They are over priced and the place wasn’t clean. I gave them a D, the place needs improvements. I don’t recommend this place. I will not go back, it is a no for me

We are New to the establishment and generally have a good experience. Today we were disappointed with our purchase.
We ordered a $13 Oxtail with White Rice. YOU guessed it ALL rice and a couple bones with fat and very little meat.
We try to support Black Business but some establishments make it difficult. Sad part is the owner and cooks may have the best intentions but their hard work is being let done at the counter. We have to provide VALUE in order to sustain a business. Otherwise the business will fail and most will blame COVID or lack of support when in fact the business didn’t take care of business and that’s why they failed.

Never going back. I love Jamaica food.. the brown stew chicken wasn’t the worst but not worth it, I’m upset I got a large. I love to support. But this not it.. would of been happier with Wendy’s.

The food taste good I ordered medium Jerk. The plate of food came up to nearly $20. OK, cool no problem. When it is time for me to eat the two pieces of chicken i got was bare bones. That ain’t right. Of course, my plate of food was packed with rice.

First come in I say hello barely get a response. Nothing but attitude must don’t wanna work. Service was nothing but attitude whole time from young lady. Food nothing but rice 2 pieces of jerk chicken. Charges $1.05 for 1 1/2 flat plantains. Can’t believe this is the same place I always raved about when I worked up the street over 8 yrs ago.

My coworker and I were in Elmsford for a pickup and looking for good food and I stumbled upon this restaurant on google. Please keep in mind that I’m from Brooklyn where we have the BEST Jamaican food. So I’m not easily impressed and I can be a harsh critic. We both got Jerk Pork and agreed that this food was AMAZINGGG!!! That was the best Jerk Pork I’ve ever had in my life. It was fresh, flavorful, tender and when you add the sauce on it, just WOW. I can’t wait to go back and try other things. The only thing I didn’t like was that there’s no parking for customers. Other than that. It was perfect !
