Consistency. Tuna for me please. Wheat bread, 6″, heated with provolone, spinach, cucumber, mayo, red onion. Great every time. Should be. When the customer is standing right there telling you what they want, and how much.

There are some workers who are incredibly slow and the wait time is unreasonably long for simple orders.

I was very disappointed in my experience at Subway in Wayne tonight. My husband and I were driving by there on a trip to Orange City, Iowa, and we were in a hurry. I ordered through the app with specific instructions on warming my meatball sub, but not toasting it. When I started eating it, the cheese wasn’t melted and the meatballs were lukewarm at best. My husband wanted a Subway melt. I didn’t see it on the app so I asked when I was in the restaurant. I was told they no longer make them “because we don’t have the bags for them.”. I didn’t know those sandwiches required a specific bag to make. Not very happy about that especially when they still have all the ingredients to make one. I’ve had other Subway’s make sandwiches that are no longer on the menu.

Right when we walked in, the employees just stared at us. They did not say hello. They were busy with another customer who ordered quite a bit which is why I understood them not welcoming us. I was willing to look past this. However, I ordered a toasted sandwich and my chicken was freezing cold and hardly had enough ranch. I ended up having to retract it at home and had to add more ranch. I understand being busy especially when it’s closer to close, but I wish my sandwich could’ve had warm chicken. When our sandwich was done they just stared at the counter until we said we were ready to check out. It was quite awkward. Overall, these kids seemed tired and overworked. This review is not for the kids working, it’s for the management. Keep these kids healthy and happy and keep your chicken warm.

The hours are a bit short which is a pain when you’re craving subway at night. The quality of the food isn’t actually bad. The sandwiches are what you them, so if you don’t like it, get a different one. The restaurant is also kept fairly clean. But the biggest issue I hold with this establishment is the lack of rewards and coupons. I’d always known Subway for their coupons, but there are never any that apply to this establishment, which limits much of the population of Wayne during the school year because most are broke college students. The QR scanner at the register for the rewards program hardly works as well, so even when you are able to collect rewards or coupons, there is a large chance it won’t scan it. The service is also a bit of a problem. I’ve spent a few years serving food in my life, and I know the importance of a smile when serving customers. Unfortunately I’m not sure some of the employees know how to.

I am a bit shocked, usually the service is good. However, today I ordered to pick up some food 15 minutes before they closed oh, so I wouldn’t be taking up their time. I went over 5 minutes early and they were closed early. Update: Never saw the sign that they changed hours. Website said otherwise, so just an error in communication

Waited an hour for them to open so we could get some breakfast sandwiches. When we went in shortly after they opened we were told they had no eggs. They opened at 10:30am and according to subways website they should serve breakfast until 11am. Very disappointed. We have also noticed they they do not follow the hours posted very closely, they will close earlier than their hours say they will. If you say you’re open to a certain time then you should stay open until then.

I waited in line behind a lady that ordered four or five sandwiches, And then was told by the large gentleman with the beard that I had to wait for him to make some online orders now. That is a terrible way to treat customers that are standing in the store. And I was the only one left in line. So I left. I’m not going to give my money to a business that treats their customers in such a way. It’s not my fault that whoever ordered online can’t bring themselves to come in and talk to an actual person in real life. And it doesn’t save time to order online, I guarantee that you could do it faster by coming in the store.

Customer service was okay but the sliders were inedible. I usually don’t go to Subway but this night I thought I’d try the sliders. The slider roll was so hard I couldn’t bite through it do I tried a knife and fork and still unable to cut through the roll. I won’t be going back
