The food is okay but the quality is going down. A lot of it is canned and it shows. The mashed potatoes with gravy are good and so is the chicken. The waitress are very attentive to some while ignoring others. Had to ask for some more drink when the table next to us keep getting asked if they needed more tea when their cups were half full.

In general the food was good, but the cabbage taste plain and unseasoned. Cornbread was too thin and it was burnt. An elderly white man literally walked up to my table and said he was “glad” to see black people come and eat there because he had not seen any since he had been eating and because it was under new ownership. It made me second guess whether I should have been there. It was really weird that he would come to my table and say that.

Best sausage link I’ve ever eaten! Eggs, shredded potatoes, coffee and waitress service were very good. However…from the time we ordered until food arrived was 30 minutes. I’m sure there was a reason for this, but to take this long, with the tables only about a third full is not good.

The food was great and the cool was very friendly and prompt on refilling the buffet. The service was horrible. I actually went and got my own drinks TWICE. The wait staff that was normally there must have moved on or been off. Very disappointing. She even tried to short me over $5 in change while paying.

Stopped in for breakfast based on a suggestion from a local – For Sale sign in the yard and Help Wanted in the window. Service was terrible slow but food was ok – would have loved to try the regular sausage as I was given the hot n spicy instead. You’re on your own here….

Waitress was awesome!
But she was the only wait/register staff so she was super swamped. Owner/ manager didn’t offer to help by clearing tables or running register. Just walked around and complained about ceiling fans. He needs to get a clue!

The food was cold and the fried chicken was still bloody and why the doors haven’t closed in the past two years since my visit says more about the health inspectors than it should. I don’t plan a return visit. One was enough to convince me not to return.

Took to long. Paper plates. 8 of us took an hour for food it came out cold and at different times. Was nooked food and orange juice and chocolate milk was bought from Sam’s club and served in bottles. Don’t waste your time . Would rate less if possible.
