Everest Indian Cuisine is a popular spot in Middletown! The food was delicious and fantastic – and I wish I could have ordered more!

Note to self – next time I go, I have to wait to eat because the food comes out HOT! A Mango Lassi might be in order next time too – because we did see someone else order that and it looked great!

The people working there were lovely and kind! We tried a couple different things but momos were my favorite. Honest the curry was blend, it needed some salt, spices, lemon, and chilli powder to make it spicy since we asked for medium and spicy food but tasted mild. The naan i personally didn’t mind but my family is not a fan of fluffy, doughy naan. The dahi puri was undone, we had to put the dahi (yogurt) on in ourselves which i get to not make it soft but its not how it is normally given. The dahi didnt taste like normal but that could be a cultural food difference. I would for sure go for the momos again and i still want to try the chowmein.

Ordered the Nepalese curry noodle and the spicy goat curry dish take out. The food was delicious, and i gat a pleasant surprise of a free dessert. The lady at the front counter is a delight and is willing to guide you if you are not familiar with the cuisine. My new favorite place.

The BEST Authentic Nepali Food: Flawless Dishes & Sweet Service

An absolute must-try! We dined here coming from Delaware and were blown away by the authentic flavor. The Nepali chef is delivering top-tier food. We thoroughly enjoyed the Thukpa and Jhol Momo (both were perfectly executed). No complaints, hands up!
Service was excellent, our server was so sweet she even offered us a complimentary Kheer. If you want food that tastes like home, stop here. Highly recommend!

Authentic Nepali Cuisine That Delights Every Sense

I recently dined at Everest Indian cuisine and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Nestled in a cozy location, the restaurant offers a warm, welcoming ambiance with subtle Nepali decor that sets the tone for a cultural and culinary journey.

Food: The menu is a delightful mix of traditional Nepali dishes, and everything I tried was packed with authentic flavors. The momos were a highlight—perfectly steamed, with a tender wrapper and juicy, spiced filling. The accompanying dipping sauce added just the right kick.

Service: The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, eager to guide us through the menu and recommend dishes for first-time visitors. They provided excellent service, ensuring that our water glasses were never empty and checking in regularly without being intrusive.

Ambiance: The restaurant strikes a perfect balance between casual and elegant. Soft music in the background, combined with traditional Nepali artwork, created a relaxing environment.

Value: Considering the quality of the food and service, the prices are very reasonable. Portions were generous, and it felt like an excellent value for the authentic experience provided.

Overall: Everest Indian cuisine is a must-visit for anyone looking to explore Nepali cuisine or revisit its comforting flavors. Whether you’re a fan of spicy curries or light, flavorful dumplings, this place has something for everyone. I can’t wait to return and try more of their delicious offerings.

Highly recommended place for everyone looking for both Indian and Nepali food. I was driving from Baltimore and visited this place that we saw randomly place in Google map . I was happy that finally we have a Nepali restaurant in Delaware which offers homemade Momos chowmein and thukpa the taste of the food was awesome and brought me back to nepal. Indian food we had aloo gobi naan and goat curry all items were good. Neat and clean place with friendly staff. The best thing I liked about Everest Indian cuisine is that they make everything fresh in the restaurant unlike most places that offer frozen and packed foods that don’t feel fresh. I recommend everyone to visit this place I am sure you will love it.

Everest is the latest addition to MOT area dining option that features Indian and Himalayan regions. We opted for take out, as the dining area is limited by space, and seating comfort is minimal. You may want to take this into consideration if you have a large party, or number of guests. With that said, the staff is friendly and helpful to us.

The menu selection seems limited on types of curry available. It seems they only offer 3-4 types of curries. However, the portions were generous, and the dishes were flavorful. Interesting that the Tikki Masala was prepared in a way that was new to us. The pricing was comparable to others in the region.

Overall, it is a good option for take out, or trying out Indian cuisine in the MOT area.

The people here were friendly, and the place was clean with nice outdoor seating. Unfortunately, the food was good, but not great. They dont have korma on their menu, so I tried something different. I enjoyed it, but the spice level was not what I requested, which kind of ruined it for me. It’s more of a take out place with seating, rather than a restaurant. Overall, there are a lot of Indian cuisine places in Middletown, and unfortunately, I’d go back to one of the others.

Incredibly friendly staff! We got biryani, the momo and the samosas. All were really good, and it was a ton of biryani! Easily split between two adults and then took a lot home. The mint chutney and tamarind sauce are also excellent, and highly recommend getting them.
