Duck breast absolutely delicious, loved everything about it. The Safran Risotto was really good too. The hostess was really nice and server very attentive. Overall we had a wonderful night and will definitely be back. I love meringue so I really enjoyed the Vermont mountain or something like that.

This place is amazing! While it was a little tricky to find the entrance (go to the pathway left of the spa entry) once we did find our way we were quite pleased! Service was super friendly and fast. We were checked on often but not in an overbearing way. The food is absolutely superb. We ordered the Tuna Poke, Steak Frittes, Saffron Risotto, and for dessert the Pudding Chomeur. Everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned. We’ll be coming back here again for sure!

A glitzy bar at Top Notch resort. Excellent service and an interesting Lunch menu. Our server (Tugba) was attentive and pleasant to deal with. We’d go again on a future trip.

Very well prepared food with fresh ingredients. The arugula berry salad was the least impressive. Striped bass was very fresh and well prepared and delicious. Some of the plating was a little dated, but overall quality was excellent. Our server was unobtrusive and professional, but not overly friendly.
There are windows to a view opposite an open kitchen. There is also a nice bar. It was not boisterous or dull and we could easily carry on a conversation. A shorter two person table would have been better. It felt a little too far for an intimate meal.
This place is expensive. I would like to try some other places in Stowe to compare.

baked feta tasted like someone defrosted moldy drywall soaked in brine in microwave; inedible.
kitchen staff tried their best to assemble sophisticate sounding dish’s, but no real chef… felt like this restaurant preorders fancy sounding dishes for some discount service and just heat them up an assemble. but none of our food was hot. tiny chewy 6oz steak for $100, it’s lies bd joke. we were the only people there, seemed like everybody knew nobody eats here.

You can’t beat a view of Mansfield on a clear summer night, but a perfectly cooked steak and wonderfully thick and flavorful risotto certainly help. The staff was casual but attentive and friendly, the cheese plate was delicious, specifically the candied currant and blue cheese. We were not rushed, felt taken care of but not intruded upon. 5 stars would be had is the stay had a little more polish and if the coffee and tea at the end is the meal were as high quality as the rest of the experience.

Food is always great and we always sit on the patio to enjoy a nice dinner. wine menu is good but careful of suggested wines as I didn’t have luck with getting what I was expecting.
We also love hitting up the bar connected to the resort afterward for a beer and shuffle board

best meal I had while staying in Stowe. I definitely recommend sitting at the chefs counter, the cooks are very nice (and hardworking) and it is fun to watch them make the meals.
I got the vegetarian pot pie and it was the best pot pie I’ve ever had, (being a vegetarian.)
service was excellent, our waiter was funny and involved.

My wife and I were in Stowe for the weekend for our anniversary, and decided to try something new. Our first impression of Flannel was not great, as we had made a reservation for later in the evening, assuming it wouldn’t be crowded then, but were made to sit at the bar for about 15min upon arrival (where we were largely ignored), because they had a large party there for a birthday or something (though I was a bit puzzled, as the majority of the tables inside were vacant). We were eventually seated at a table outside on their patio, which was lovely until our food came and it was dark out by that point, with no candles or outdoor lighting so you could see what you were eating. They eventually brought a candle for us, and the food was good (we had the steak frites and seafood risotto), though a bit overpriced. The beer menu was decent, and the wine menu was extensive, though not many options were available by the glass (I don’t drink wine, just my wife, so we’re not buying an entire bottle). Overall, not a terrible experience, but not great either, and for that kind of money I would definitely recommend Edson Hill instead (though they’re closed on Sundays and Mondays, hence why we tried here).
