Hands down the best Sushi experience i have had yet. Sushi is sold as sets, so you order the set and they bring it out as you dine.
Food tasted fresh and rich.
Location is small so reservation may be the recommendation.
Staff was very friendly and happy to have us.
I highly recommend this location.

What a wonderful restaurant! The food here is incredible! We especially love the California Rolls and Japanese soda. When they prepare tuna it’s quite a show and so much fun! What’s best is how kind they are to children. My son has become friends with the owners/ staff over the years, and always leaves with a huge smile on his face. 5 stars!!!

Fish sourced from Japan and prepared with impeccable attention to detail and presentation, this small sushi establishment is a gem. Deceitfully housed in a strip center off of Warner with modest signage, it’s easy to miss this special place. We’ve dined here a few times and it never disappoints. From knowledgeable and welcoming staff to beautifully plated food, everything seems to come into the spotlight when dining here. The chef is truly a sushi master with impressive knifework and equally impressive flavor profiles.

Best sushi in LA or OC! My wife is Japanese and we’ve gone to the most expensive sushi restaurants from Beverly Hills to Newport Beach…this blows them all away! The freshest fish with large portions and beautiful arrangements. This is a MUST go place for sushi! I highly recommend the Chirashi and Omakase!

Tasty and high quality sushi/food! The place is small and was full of customers, making it hard to hear because the acoustics aren’t very good. The servers were very nice, although there were multiple mistakes on food orders and on the check that they corrected without any issues.

We had a reservation and were seated promptly. The server was kind and very helpful. We each ordered the 5 roll set and the fried scallops. Our favorite roll was the eel, and the fried scallops were also delicious. We highly recommend the 5 roll set; it’s a great value.

Sometimes you are fortunate enough to stumble upon a previously unknown restaurant and end up experiencing food as art. This is NOT your “get drunk and eat AYCE sushi” place (well I guess it could be)- it is an authentic Japanese dining experience with a master at the helm and his family as the amazing crew. Get the omakase menu for something as memorable in flavor as it is in appearance. Can’t say enough about this place- do yourself a favor and try it. You might see me there and I’m driving from San Clemente. It’s THAT good.

Fantastic place for a curated Japanese menu, small yet relaxing with delicious food!
My family just attended the Tuna Event (by reservation) for the first time and it was worth it! See the video for your selves and the huge whole tuna being sliced and prepped for your sashimi and hand rolls. From the ocean to your table!
We had our 2nd Tuna Event and just fantastic, the freshness of tuna, from the sea to our table.
I think we’re going for a 3rd round this December!

We ordered the Special and Premium sets. They also have larger omakase sets which require advanced reservation.
It’s a small place so I imagine reservations on weekends may be needed.
Loved the tuna, (smoked) albacore, salmon sashimi (was fatty and had onion garnish and seasoned), bay scallops, salmon handroll, crab handroll.
It was cute that every dish was presented on different plates.
We also tried:
The Horse Mackerel and Amberjack but didn’t melt in mouth as much as the other sashimi.
Scallop- good at first then had a fishy aftertaste
Sea bream- texture was good but for some reason it tasted like soap. My friend didn’t taste the same thing. Maybe it came from the dish itself?
Would come back again!

Very small, intimate Japanese restaurant with freshly prepared sushi. I would highly recommend making reservations and order a la carte to pick and choose your own sushi adventure. One of the few sushi places I’ve been to that serves their sushi on warm rice. I don’t usually like squid but here it was delicious!
