We went in on a Friday night. There were about 5 tables seated between the main dining and the bar. The hostess was very cheerful and greeted us right away. We opted for the first come seating on the bar, the atmosphere was nice, dimly lit, full bar, fireplace, music, television. Moody. Stylish.
10 minutes later we went back to the front to get a menu since no one had come to the table. 10 minutes later we were greeted for drinks. 10 minutes later our food order was taken. There were 2 other tables seated in the bar area. Both were done eating, chatting. So the lack of service was confusing. But the server was very nice and lively when he did come by. I enjoyed his personality a lot. Though he never checked on us or refilled our empty drinks.
The food was meh. The pasta salad consist of rotini drowned is very lightly flavored ranch dressing with a few large tomato and cucumber chunks. The house made pimento cheese tastes like Ruth’s. The artisan white bread is reminiscent of meritas. He gave his burger a 6.
I don’t know that we won’t give it another try since most of the other places we’ve tried in Chester have German cockroaches on the tables. Maybe my hopes were too high. Maybe we’ll try the pizza.

Place was pretty good. A lot of basic menu items and my wrap was tasty. Service was good and constant. This place is quite big inside.

Customer Service is always top notch! I came in to try the new pizza buffet and for someone who isn’t a big pizza fan, it was really good. It was definitely a deal for the price. Love the wraps also!

This place has so much potential. The food is hit or miss. One day I had some really great brick fired pizza and the next day it was literally burnt. They have what looks like 15 or 20 staff but still have to wait 30 minutes before getting your order. This is a new bisuness. I think when they get it figured out, this place will be great.

Super excited about something new in town. The service was good, restaurant is nice and clean, but the pizza was lacking. The crust is a little thick for a brick oven, which is usually expected to be more thin and crispy. The toppings were all great. The red sauce was a little sweet for my liking, but the white garlic sauce was perfect. The side salad was great though! Filled with fresh toppings. Will definitely be back to try something else, sandwiches look great, with lots of options for toppings.

First time going. We ordered buffalo chicken dip, pimiento cheese dip and onions rings for appetizers. Dips were good. Onion rings were bland. Daughter, myself and son in law ordered pizzas. They were ok could use a little more garlic in sauce. Son in law wasn’t happy cause his pizza had prosciutto that was over cooked which made it real chewy. We asked to be seated in the back by oven station. Several employees were gathered around chatting. One guy was making pizza dough without gloves. Everyone else working in pizza making area was wearing gloves.

Small town restaurant with a big heart that aims to please. Family-owned and operated in the middle of downtown Chester. The family members are typically working during the few days it’s open but they have a decent sized menu with everything from salads & sandwiches to pizza and dessert. They have appetizers too! Next door is the connected bar called Zeldas. The restaurant is a sprawling space in what used to be the town’s five and dime store more than 30 years ago. You can still see a relic of the sign at the entrance from the street. The staff is nice and wants you to feel welcomed and feel like “everybody knows your name”. There is a set of twins that often work the weekends. They are busy but will help however they can during your visit. We had the 10” & 16” pizzas, spiffy ceasar salad, and a few cocktails. You can eat on the Zelda or main restaurant side. Our food came out piping hot and fresh. It wasn’t bad at all. They even offer baked goods made by one of the twin sisters! So stop by, say ‘hi’, and have a bite!

Get the burger and onion rings, you won’t be disappointed. Best onion rings I’ve ever had and the burger was very tasty with tons of toppings options. Friendly and.professional staff, nice atmosphere. Peanut butter pie is also super good! Food was fresh too. Highly recommend it! Chester is moving up!

Hillside was a breath of fresh air! The food was delicious and the service was fantastic! I will definitely return!
I had their version of a Club sandwich. It was so juicy and tasty! Really good! And the fries were perfect! Then I had a drink from the Cafe that was very good!
It’s located in the downtown area of Chester, which must have been something in its day! I hope they will revitalize! It’s a beautiful place. Do be prepared for downtown parking!

1st time trying this restaurant/pizzeria. What a pleasant surprise! I had the buffalo chicken dip for my small plate and the cheeseburger pizza for my main course. Took a slice of the peanut butter cheesecake home for a late night snack. Delicious! Will I be back? Absolutely!
