Second visit — still amazing!
This is my second time eating here, and it won’t be the last. The flavors are deep, comforting, and honest — like a good conversation with an old friend. The naan bread is soft and warm, perfect for scooping up every last drop of curry.
The service is humble and kind, not rushed or pushy. You can tell they care about what they serve. The spices aren’t just heat — they’re stories.

Let me start by saying the food is absolutely the best its fresh, tender, and absolutely devine! Seriously, some of the best in north georgia. The only issues we had was with the service and the fact they didn’t serve mixed drinks. Very odd considering they have a wide selection of vodka, rum, bourbon, and tequila. They are definitely missing out on income from that. Then there was only 1 waitress for the whole restaurant. Not only was she cleaning tables, taking orders, and making drinks but also checking customers out. I hated even asking for refills because she was so busy.

The pricing was just right and the interior is decorated so beautifully!
My husband got the shrimp tikka masala and I got the palak paneer. Although I wish I had gotten spicy instead of mild for my dish, I tasted the shrimp tikka masala and it was the best thing I ever tasted.
Such a hidden gem in North Georgia! We WILL be back the next time we’re in Reseca!

A great spot for good eats! I had the chicken karahi as spicy as it comes and it was phenomenal! The garlic naan was top-tier too. The service was great and wonderfully pleasant. If you’re a fan of indian cuisine this is a sure thing and definitely an easy choice!

Very good food! The place looks nicer on the inside then outside. The service was good. There was a small language barrier. The staff was very friendly. They also carry whiskey and beer from India.
Update: Went back a few more times, and the food was even better. The service was better as well. They have better bar selections, and the imports from India are awesome! I enjoyed being there and will return when I am in the area.

North Indian Flame Bar & Restaurant is hands down the best place for authentic North Indian food in Calhoun and the surrounding area! The owners are originally from North India, and you can truly taste the authenticity in every single dish.
We ordered Chicken Karahi, Goat Curry, Paneer Kulcha, Butter Naan, Garlic Naan, Tandoori Roti, Raita, Mango Lassi, and Masala Lassi, and everything was absolutely perfect. The Chicken Karahi was rich and flavorful with just the right amount of spice. The Goat Curry was tender and cooked to perfection, and the Paneer Kulcha was soft, cheesy, and packed with flavor. The fresh naan and tandoori roti were spot-on—soft, warm, and exactly how they should be. The food also comes with complimentary rice on the side, which was a great addition.
The raita balanced the spices beautifully, and both the Mango and Masala Lassi were refreshing and authentic, just like you’d get in India. The prices are very reasonable—better than most restaurants in Atlanta—and the ambiance of the restaurant is amazing, making it a perfect spot for both casual dining and special occasions.
If you’re craving REAL North Indian food, this is the place. Absolutely 10/10—highly recommended!

For my first time trying Indian food I must say it was a good experience. Just glad I had the hot level mild and not the way they eat it . Food was great, really tastee. Chicken butter was outstanding the drink was a common taste from my Island so we have something in common there. The food was delicious and I’m glad I got to experience and share it with many other. Customer service was phenomenal, dine in or take out and also they take phone orders. All food fresh so you’ll be waiting 15 to 20 for the meal. Highly recommend and yes I will be trying this place out again. They just open but given time. Also if the consistency stays there this place will be a must go to overtime for alot of people.
