MAN O’ MAN! When I tell you this food is sooooo good and fresh, I mean it! I’m not a vegan, but these vegan options are packed with FLA-VOR!
I loved how varied the menu was and how easy it was to interpret (i.e., burgers, tacos, salads, etc.). The tacos were delicious, and the fish sliders had a great crunch to them. My favorite was the sweet potato fries!
The service was great. I really admire how the owner was attentive to us, and I was really impressed that he was the person doing all the cooking!
The raspberry lemonade was sooo yummy; you could tell it was freshly made.
S.O.P. is located inside of Urban Eats. This was my first time visiting, and I find it very admirable that the restaurants are owned by local restaurant entrepreneurs. I will be back! It felt like home and a real community.
PLEASE VISIT! WE GOT TO KEEP THIS PLACE OPEN!

The plant base sliders and cheese fries are amazing. Would definitely recommend. And they make housemaid relishes and sauces that are amazing. The owner is friendly and everything is fresh to order. Let’s support all of these businesses in urban eatz.

Great experience at Da Picky Vegan (located in the food court). Ordered a Chop Chkn Hero and a Triple Patty Combo. I would’ve preferred crispier sweet potato fries. We had a good conversation with the gentleman there and he gave us a sample of crab cakes. Overall good experience and will definitely return!

Chef John was great! Love that we could just pop in to the food court and find a delicious vegan burger. We tried the Black Bean burger, Da Picky burger, with sweet potato fries, and the “chicken” nuggets. Everything tasted great, and the sauces were delicious. If you love spicy, try Chef John’s ketchup. We’ll be back!

Ive been rooting for this place since I first ate there at West County Mall forever ago. The food is phenomenal and the guy who owns the place is just the best. I once convinced a vehemently non-vegan friend of mine to try their food and the fell in LOVE. Not just great food for being vegan, great food, period. Not a single bad thing on the menu.

The black bean burger is DELICIOUS! The burger is savory, well seasoned and has an excellent texture. The hand cut sweet potato fries topped with the sticky maple garlic sauce is well balanced with a tiny kick of red pepper flake. The ginger beer pop drink with almond milk ice cream was creamy and just the right amount of ginger flavor. The customer service was awesome. 10/10 definitely recommend.

All in favor of vegan food! I’m not vegan, (or vegetarian (I don’t know what I am (please help me))) but it’s great to see more options in St. Louis’ de-facto cultural nucleus. Sadly, the line here was not very long, so it looked less appealing than the food court’s other options. (Probably partially due to the fact that most Americans wrinkle their nose at the thought of death-free food, or maybe just because it’s relatively new) I ordered the chicken sandwich, (No side,) which the girl at the counter recommended me, and I enjoyed it! Not my absolute favorite, and they were busy behind the counter with something, so my food took a little while to get. The thing tasted like chicken to some extent, (Which is more than enough, as deep-fried chicken doesn’t even taste like chicken 75% of the time.) I wasn’t crazy about the breading on the chicken, though the slaw and the sauce went a ways to make it pretty tasty. Overall, not my favorite food court staple, but if you’re vegan, vegetarian, or have general plant-based inclinations, (like me,) then you should definitely give this a try!

This place is so good. Everything is delicious and well seasoned. They bring sweet, savory, and spicy with every bite. Specials are great too. Grabbed a savory bbq burger with pineapple and jalapeños that was out of this world.

Da “Picky” “Vegan”…. The food tastes just as lame as this name sounds. In today’s economy we do not have money to waste on processed food being pawned off as vegan. What “chef” (yes, the owner labels himself as a chef) do you know of who learned to microwave processed Morning Star nuggets in culinary school?!!! Is Canada Dry ginger ale, Lipton teas and other carbonated unhealthy drinks classified as vegan? Frankenfood, processed, chemical containing food is distributed to unsuspecting victims at this so called vegan eatery. It is truly one of the worst “back room of the building” dives you will ever experience. Save yourself the disappointment and simply purchase a bag of Morning Star nuggets and French fries from Aldi’s. Slather the nuggets with a sauce of your choosing and drench the fries in whatever seasonings you have in your pantry…. voila! You, too, can be a “picky vegan!”
