Upon arriving we were promptly seated outdoors in the patio area. It was a cool day, but we had jackets so it wasn’t an issue. The music was exceptionally loud, despite us being the only patrons at the time, and it made it difficult to talk. Compile that with a train passing by 20 feet away every 20 minutes and hanging out in the patio was difficult for a relaxing, afternoon lunch. Unfortunately, the music in the lounge was even louder.
We started by ordering some mocktails and an Arnold Palmer and proceeded to wait 25 minutes for drinks to be delivered. We then ordered from the very limited lunch menu and proceeded to wait 50 minutes for our food to arrive.
The drinks were fine, but overpriced. The food was tasty, but came out cold, despite it including a soup and a toasted sandwich.
I’m going to reiterate that when we walked into the space, we were the ONLY patrons, it was NOT busy and it was NOT a typical busy meal/lounge time (mid-afternoon on a weekday). The service was kind, but lacking, and the food experience was just a total miss.
Would I come back? Maybe for a drink, and only if I was sitting AT the bar to ensure service was provided in a timely manner. I would likely not come back for food, although the options were interesting and I can see how if served hot would be tasty.
Overall, and expensive experience I’m not sure I’ll be able to recommend to others, which is a bummer, as the space itself is beautiful.
Made a reservation around 4pm midweek. When we arrived, there was literally no one there. More people started showing up about an hour later. Around that time, we received our bill, but there was an issue with the bill, so we waited for our waitress to return. We sat there for another 30 minutes, trying to get her attention. Because we were seated next to the hostess area, we heard her telling other patrons as they came in, that they could be seated if they planned on being finished in 30 minutes, because they needed the tables for reservations.
She did finally come over, but it was to tell us, “You need to leave, we have reservations coming soon.” She seemed irritated when we explained that we had been waiting to have the bill corrected- no apology, by the way. Another person then came to help us.
Food was alright and drinks are quite small, but good.
Faster service will help them get people in and out of there quickly – if that’s the restaurant’s goal.
First issue: our reservation meant nothing. We weren’t seated until 30 minutes after our scheduled time, with no real explanation or apology. If you’re going to take reservations, at least try to honor them or communicate better.
Once seated, things didn’t improve. The cocktails were terrible — poorly balanced, overly sweet, and honestly tasted rushed and low effort. For a pop-up that clearly leans heavily on themed drinks, this was a big letdown.
And then there’s the atmosphere. You’d expect festive Christmas music, right? Instead, they were playing random oldies that completely killed the holiday vibe. It felt more like a confused bar playlist than a Christmas pop-up.
Overall, this place is all hype and Instagram decor with very little substance. If you’re going for the experience, be prepared for long waits, bad drinks, and a vibe that doesn’t match the theme. Definitely wouldn’t come back.
