This place is LEGIT. We were visiting Fredericksburg for the first time. It was the weekend before Christmas and we had just finished touring the National Museum of the Pacific War. After looking at the available options, Mystic Lobster Co. had the highest reviews so we decided to try it out. There were less than 100 reviews so I wasn’t sure how it would go.
Wow wow wow!! Food was fresh and delicious. We ordered a Connecticut and a Maine. We both loved the flavor and texture. The coleslaw was ok but I think that was more a preference on my part (I prefer chunkier cole slaw). We ordered the Old Bay and Truffle fries. They were piping hot, seasoned just right, and soooo good! After finishing our food, we actually ordered seconds. Another Connecticut for him and a bowl of lobster bisque for me. That was another home run!
…on top of that, the owners (Melissa and her husband) were there and spent 30 minutes showing off their hospitality with some curated recommendations for what to do around town, after ensuring we were completely satisfied with our meal. Amazing people, incredible food! Sincerely hoping they open a location in DFW one day!

My boyfriend and I were visiting Fredericksburg and decided to come in here, and it was so worth it! The original Maine lobster roll and the lobster Mac and cheese were so delicious and tasted fresh. I spoke with one of the owners who was so friendly and personable. I definitely plan to come back here when I visit again!

With some luck we discovered this jewel. In a food truck now but they hopefully will have a spot on main street soon. The lobster was wonderful and they are very generous for the price. Another place has a similar size roll for double the price. We tried the Maine and Conneticut = both great.

I had always wanted to try a lobster roll. We went to the Outer Banks and silly me thought I would be able to get one there. Nope, who would have guessed there was an establishment right here in Texas. My husband and I each had a classic Connecticut lobster roll and it was delicious. We also each had a bowl of soup. He had the New England Clam chowder and I had the Lobster Bisque. All of the food was fresh and delicious. The owners were very friendly and the restaurant was clean. We will definitely go back every time we visit Fredericksburg.

Brought my Beautiful Wife to Fredericksburg Tx for her birthday and she wanted some lobster rolls. Ive seen this place advertised almost everywhere and we just decided to give it a try. It was the best decision we made. Next to the food truck, there is a beautiful pond to eat your Rolls at. Id recommend the Connecticut Roll and the Deep South. Both are equally amazing and flavorful. Service was very kind and welcoming, love the energy and the smiles. Definitely coming back!! Stop by for sure!!

We liked the food so much that we wanted to come back the next day being Monday which was the day that they are closed. But having learned that I am visiting from Australia, they went above and beyond – even offering to make us food on their only day off! That kind of kindness is hard to find.
