In a sea of burgers and smoked fish lies an oasis of tacos and salsa. What an absolute gem of a restaurant and a lovely addition to the northwoods. The staff is very friendly, the inside is quaint and the food is delicious. Highly recommend the horchata as someone who grew up drinking store bought this was an eyeopening experience of what I’ve been missing. I look forward to coming here for summers to come.

Stop here!!! This was a really fun time. Since it was my first time…I got a free shot of tequila. Excellent Margaritas. It was all natural with fresh sqeezed juice…no mixes. Food was good! Owner and manager were so kind. This place was clean! The bathroom, floors, tables, bar…all really clean!! Family friendly. Pulltabs. I didn’t go for breakfast but the breakfast menu looks amazing…they serve breakfast on Saturdays and Sundays. Highly recommend a stop here.

Had an amazing dinner here!! Lots of inside seating but we snagged the table outside. Staff was super courteous and very nice. Margaritas were so good!!! The food was incredible too, so tasty and flavorful. I would advise going with enough time to relax and enjoy the experience, don’t go if you’re looking for something speedy. Sitting, relaxing, with a drink and chips made the evening so pleasant with time for the excitement about the food to build. Loved the smaller menu with quality choices, not overwhelming in the slightest. Can’t wait to take friends and go back.

I hate giving bad reviews because most people really do try their best. But those stars are there for a reason. The food was Mexican in appearance, but one taste tells you that there is virtually no chili pepper, cumin, or …salt? Maybe the place livens up in the evening, but it was pretty depressing during the day. The service was valiant in the face of such bleakness

We went for their Sunday breakfast, and the Huevos Rancheros were some of the best I’ve ever had. If you like spiciness, the salsa roja added a perfect amount of heat to the dish but wasn’t overwhelming. Highly recommend making the trip to Grandview for their food.

Thankful for some variety in the Northwoods and a plate that isn’t fully brown. (Aka.. burgers and other fried food). Only been here twice but both times took the special of the day and was rewarded with something yummy

Best street tacos around! Love the beef steak tacos the most. The salsita is made fresh and a little different each time we go, which is amazing.

There were only 2 people working the bar so the wait time took awhile which we were more than ok with. This is possibly because it’s been hard to rehire workers since opening back up. We heard this from several businesses in the area. So if you go here give them a bit of a break he is doing the best he can with what he has. Ok now let’s get to the real review! I am a former chef fyi. When I pull up to a bar I expect it will be processed food and such n such. Dang I was so wrong when I pulled up here. This chef uses fresh foods nothing from a can and everything made from scratch! He was very kind and humble! I got a steak chimichanga and it was so good. The steak was a little tuff for 2 pieces but it was so flavorful, and tender for the rest. Not to often would you hear me wish for more red salsa but this would have been one of those times I would have asked for more! I would most definitely come back. I would try a burrito next time and get the fixings.

The best Mexican food within a 75 mile radius. All prepared fresh. Expect a Lil more wait time than most, but totally worth it !!
