A great little hole in the wall with tasty Pupusas and lots of variety of food. The restaurant atmosphere is very simple, but I find that charming.

Delicious spot in San Benito near the Conjunto Museum. My bites were perfect and fresh. The Jamica / hibiscus is homemade fresh.

Place was pretty good. Clean. Service was good. Attentive. Single person restrooms. Clean. Environment is open and lit. Not dim. Parking is along the road. Food was GREAT!! Pupusas great. Not greasy. Like little stuffed pancakes.

Perhaps prematurely, Texas generally, and Cameron County specifically is allowing restaurants to open at reduced capacity. My wife and I went to Pupusas Antojitos on Mothers’ Day.
It was fantastic. My wife was raving about it to our kids all day (there’s just the 2 but their calls were well spaced). She had the fried bananas and I had 2 pupsas: chicharon with mushrooms and ground beef. The bananas came with beans, crema, and crumbling cheese. The pupusas came with beans and a sort of cole slaw that was more like cabbage seviche. The tables were well spaced out for social distancing (see photo). We can’t wait to go back.

Tried visiting 2 times one at 3pm one at 4pm
Both times closed, people were still inside, but doors were lock . Hours online says open until 5
Tried calling them but never answer, it’s a bummer because once it used to be my favorite spot

Customer service is great! Food was delicious and portions were big. A little wait time but because it freshly cooked. So the wait is worth it knowing your getting freshly made food. Definitely our new spot for family sundays

Very weird experience. I came on 5/9/24 a few mins after 4pm and found a grown man with his shoes off, sleeping on the floor snoring very loudly. Lights off with no other staff and front door was unlocked. Google lists this place open till 5pm. I walked out immediately. I’m 100% sure that I will never be going back…

I recently relocated from Dallas, Texas, City area, high reated restaurants and I have never paid almost $5.00 for 1 pupusa as thin as this ones. Too expensive for the amount of food, location and place. The lady was kind but I left unhappy. Not my favorite but I do respect everybodies businesses and work. Not a second time for me. Many blessings
