A typical Midwestern local sports bar and grill. TVs for games, an upper deck for eating to look down to the main floor, popcorn machine, pull tabs and extensive beer list. All the food items are very reasonable (you can get a jr size burger meal for $6.99) and I was satisfied with my burger and the portion of kettle cooked style chips I got with the meal. Ordered one alcoholic drink, and didn’t get a second because I questioned whether there a full shot in there. Liquor Bonus prices are $3 for domestic beets and $5.50 for premium (I paid that for a blackberry Crown Royal) there is an off sale liquor store attached to this establishment!

It’s a cool bar. I always stop there when I’m in St.Charles. The cheese curds were wonderful!!!!! Our poor server though they definitely should of had more people working it was crazy busy and she was the only one running to take orders and serving the food.

We ordered the chicken nachos and got beef nachos. It says it comes with salsa and sour cream, and for some reason we were charged0.75 for each. The nachos meat was like somebody just plopped the meat on top and it was mostly onions and green peppers. They took $1 off for her mistake. Now I know why it’s been a year and a half since we ate there. We boxed the food up and left

A nice little hole in the wall bar. Bartenders are super nice here and they have lots of big screens for watching any games that are on. They had a pretty big menu but we did not try any of the food while there. We only had drinks and they were mixed well.

The food was great, like always! However we had to wait an hour and a half for our food. I understand they were super busy, but they could have informed us how behind the kitchen was. The cheese curds and onion rings are always great and made fresh to order. The rodeo burger, French dip, and crispy chiken sandwiches were also good and truly hit the spot.

Food was terrible. Kwik Trip can make a better sandwich. The terrible sandwich didn’t come with any sides and the side was surprisingly expensive for the small handful of fries you got. Bar stools were wobbly and ratty. The only positive thing was the bar tender was friendly and talkative.

Had their wild fries comes with a maple dipping sauce that was very good!
The place is a little run down but they have balcony seating upstairs that overlooks the main level, that was cool. We would go back.

Went in for a quick bite and to get to know about this well spoken of establishment, (by the locals that is.)
Did not stay due to it wasn’t up to our standards; we won’t bore or overwhelm anyone with a list of things we didn’t care for; but it can be summed up in the expression: “Hole in the wall.” The staff and patrons looked happy, warm and even friendly, but that wasn’t enough to make us sit down and shell out money. The place could really use a make over/remodel, inside and out.
We were headed to Rochester for errands and ended up at BW3’s instead. We do not regret the drive or the $60, (with $11 tip,) we spent in the city when passing on this place.
I would’ve loved to support the local economy while we stay out here a few months. Hopefully they see a remodel in their future. There also was only one waitress, but from my observations she was holding down the fort quite well.

Super busy, parking lot was full. Once inside, you could tell it was a local favorite. Bit of a wait, but to be expected as they are busy. Great food! Great service! Great locals (have fun with them)! Apparently Wednesday night is the best local crowd !
