Don’t go off of the rating! Such an incredible local gem. The staff is always so friendly and helpful. The economy is rough right now. They can’t staff 10 people if we don’t support our local small businesses. The food is delicious, full of quality and flavor. Check it out and try the fajitas. My husband loves the shredded chicken burrito. One last note our meals are always enough food for lunch the next day.

New Mexican Restaurant, plenty of parking available. The establishment is very roomy and accommodates several guests. Nice decor inside building. The food is really good, however it is a bit pricy for what u get. There’s way too many Mexican restaurants that are delicious and way more affordable. The staff needs improvement in attention to guests. Our waiter did not check in on my visit while dinning in, my son needed extra napkins and me and my wife needed refills and extra plate and we didn’t see the waiter till we were done eating. She Just took our order and brought food and next time we saw her she just brought the check, by then we were done and ready to go. As we were leaving there was few customers just standing by door with nobody in sight to greet or welcome, just all pilled up and confused. For being new I would think they would be more staffed and friendly, and of course welcoming. I’m personally not coming back there’s way better spots in sac.

Do not recommend this place. I went on a weekend & it was dead. No good vibes. Food is ok. I tried desert & it took long to come out even though it wasn’t busy. They only serve beer no mixed drinks.

I happen to be doing a job in this area and pass by this restaurant many times. Today I decided to go in and have dinner and kill time while there was traffic on the road. I was pleasantly surprised I was quickly greeted sad at a table brought warm beans and salsa with my chips. My food came out pretty quick and delivered with flavor and presentation. Tony was exceptionally good and checked on me multiple times while I was eating. I would recommend this place.

The food here is really bang for your buck, you definitely get your values worth in food and services. I’ve eaten here a couple of times and the food is always really good and filling and I would definitely recommend the enchiladas (specifically the spinach ones if your vegetarian) all around id give the restaurant a 5 star and the servers were really nice.

My two boys and I went to La Monarca restaurant for the first time. We went for dinner although they just recently opened we had such a great experience. The waitresses were very friendly. I ordered chicken and steak fajitas. It came in a large portion with a side of beans and rice. I shared the fajitas with my youngest son who couldn’t wait to try the food before I took the photo of our order. My eldest son ordered a cheese burger off of the kids menu. He ate his cheese burger and fries, so fast before I could even take a picture. Everything was really good. The ambience was very delightful. They played good music. The murals on their walls are beautiful and definitely bring the restaurant to life. When I got my receipt I was in shock at how cheap our dinner was compared to how much food we got. I paid less than what I would have paid at a fast food restaurant. I definitely recommend people coming out and try La Monarca.

Good food, friendly staff. I rarely review places but I saw their rating and felt they didn’t deserve such a low rating. The chips are fresh, the salsa is good, and they give you bean dip with your chips too! I ordered the quesadilla with rice and beans and it was a ton of food. I have another meal for tomorrow! They have breakfast all day; my husband (picky eater) got an omelette and raved about the grilled chicken. And it was affordable too!

Beautiful butterflies every where. Yummy food, calm atmosphere. Nice wait staff. Music playing over speaker. Clean uncrowded dining area. Had a lovely lunner (late lunch & Dinner) with my eldest daughter, who is visiting me. Horchata was awesome as well.
