The sweetest little coffee spot in town. With its unique originality and whimsy touch the Delicious organic Coffee and amazing chai makes every visit worthwhile. They Never fail me when I try a monthly special but the butterscotch cold brew is my most all time favorite as well as the chocolate chai (hot or cold). The hospitality feels like family and all of the sandwiches and baked goods are always so good. None of the other coffee options in town can even come close to what Northstar offers. I hope you enjoy it too!

Really cute place! The name does seem to have a tie-in to the publication as there are paintings of MLK and Fredrick Douglas. The pastries look too good to resist. Good service, great place.

This place has the best coffee in town. The hospitality, the smiles and the delicious coffee!! Those other chains can’t come close to what Northstar has to offer. I highly recommend the butterscotch cold brew with extra shot- my fav go to, hot chocolate chai and I always stock up on my cold brew bulk if I know I have a busy week ahead and might not have time to pop in for an order. We also love the ham egg and Swiss and the blueberry muffins!! Thank you Northstar ☕️

Was a nice spot. My chai was yummy and served fast and fairly priced. There is plenty of room for seating but was a little bit of an odd set up. It worked for a meet in the middle spot for me and a few colleagues. Would use it again to meet in the future.

I was blown away by both the coffee and the service. Love that they do pour overs, the chai spice is really nice, and the brownie was delicious. This is my new coffee spot in Piqua and I can’t wait to spend more time there and peruse the Randolph-McCulloch museum side of the facility as well. Such a beautiful design and homey feel, very excited to visit again.
