Massimo Italian Corner is a modern Italian Cafe. With a mix of Old and New, our concept is geared toward the Italian way of life. Espresso, Italian products and Friendships. We offer Pizza, Salads, Grinders, Pastries, an Italian Market and Espresso Bar. Since 1986, Massimo has been cooking with love in his restaurant Massimo Pizzeria Ristorante. In 2017 he opened Italian Corner Deli in Trumbull. He is now proud to have third location in Norwalk, to continue spreading his love for food and family.

I don’t know if there’s an award for “Best Chicken Parm” in Norwalk, but this place would definitely be in the running. Whether you get a sub or the entrée you can’t go wrong. The desserts are delightful. The pizza is everything you want out of New York style, and they have good espresso to sit and chat with friends.

Great staff, owners are hands-on and often there. Food is delicious. Nice to have a glass of wine at the end of the day. Informal, but sophisticated atmosphere, very creative. Decorated by Pepes wife, just very well done. They even offer tours of Italy and events there. They drive around in a cute little fiat, advertising their business. Charming , place , you always feel welcomed and appreciated.

Massimo’s Italian Corner is a wonderful eatery located in Westport Avenue in Norwalk, right next to Staples. Massimo’s offers a wide variety of Italian specialties including frittatas, gourmet pizzas, sandwiches, salads, dinners and an espresso bar. I’ve sampled nearly everything on the menu and it was all amazing! On top of that the friendly staff will make you feel like a member of the family right from your first visit.
Massimo’s is available for dine-in, take-out, and delivery through the usual apps. They are open 7 days a week until 9pm so there is no excuse not to check this place out. You won’t regret it!

Visited today for the first time and was pleased with a welcoming interior that is split up between pizza making and baking services. It is well lit and decorated and the staff is friendly.
I had the opportunity to try some of their pastries that were fresh and delicious. I’ll update soon when I try some more of their pizza menu!

Ordered delivery and was surprised to find my sandwich did not have a lot of meat on it. I would rather support a local business vs the chains, but let’s not skimp so much on portions. We’re all feeling it with inflation so it’s even harder to justify going out. We also ordered a pizza and the amount of toppings were also on the lighter side. Don’t know if someone is new in the kitchen but was pretty underwhelmed by the experience.

This is the best Italian restaurant I’ve ever tried! The pizza dough is perfect—crispy, chewy, and full of flavor. The coffee is excellent, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. We keep coming back because it’s our favorite spot in Connecticut. Highly recommend!

I usually give places the benefit of the doubt, but today’s service at Massimo in Norwalk was very disappointing. Our order wasn’t entered, and when the food finally arrived it was wrong. After a long wait, we had decided to leave because enough is enough. Staff seemed focused on another table while we were overlooked, and nothing was offered to make it right. No matter how good the food is, poor customer service ruins the experience.
