This is the classic locally owned diner. Food tastes homemade, the prices are great, and the staff is incredibly friendly! Plus, all day breakfast!

I’ve been here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and have never been disappointed.

Very clean, especially front door and entryway.
Good service, always a plus.
Food was better than average, coleslaw was excellent.
However, the star of the show was definitely the cherry cobbler ala mode. You owe it to yourself, just for the desserts.

After seeing this Diner advertising so much delicious food on an East Peoria page we decided to check it out. I have to say it’s a small town feel as soon as you walk in. Very clean inside for being that old school feel. The food was awesome and cannot say enough about it. I would recommend trying this place out for sure.

Cobbler Corner used to be the biggest joke in Pekin. Horrible bad food back in the day, but I had heard it had new owners and the food quality was better. Was out meandering around and thought I would stop and give them a try. Waitress was quick to bring drink and menu. After learning the tenderloin and country fried steak we’re both frozen, she said the Swiss steak was fresh, so I ordered that with mashed potatoes and chicken noodle soup. Everything was awesome and yummy. Iced tea was very good too, and service was great. Only problem was portion size. I don’t expect huge portions, but for 12:99, there could be just a little more Swiss steak.

I used to come to this restaurant with my grandpa during the summer before we went fishing or headed in and out camping and still was quick and easy simple food it was really about the people and the chatter noise of voices and excitement from stories and memories! That environment is canceled out because I watched people come in as I did and realized there was nowhere to sit with only half occupied restaurant…. There comfortable vibe and memories to be had from future customers have been replaced by tables. Listen to your customers please and remove 1/3 of your seating

This is a small little diner with excellent service and food! They only take cash or check so make sure you have one of those available to pay.
