I enjoy the location of the club. I like the old country feel of the place. Service was not bad. My problem is the food. I have ate twice In a role there and the first time I got sick afterwards that only could have been food related. The second time I ordered a hamburger and the patty was thin like the slice of cheese on it. It was like they were saving beef for some reason… I will not go back until new manament.

I took my sister and brother in law here on Saturday evening. Great wings. They enjoyed the burgers. We did have to move inside due to no breeze and flys, but if you’re just having drinks, outside is really nice. The drive here from Rockdale was so nice. We even saw a pair of crested caracaras! Dude, the owner was very accommodating and saw to it that we had everything we needed. Thanks Dude!

First time customer and was met as we entered the door. Very friendly owner/manager happy to give advice and describe the daily specials. Food was excellent and even that it is over 1 hour drive from my home I will definitely be back!

Now serving food. Onion rings the bomb. Grilled Chicken salad was good, as was the hamburger. Darts & pool, 4 big screens for sports. Great outdoor patio under beautiful oak trees.

Let me start by saying that my girl and I have been in the service industry for 30 years so we know hospitality. That being said, everyone knows that if you drink can sodas, that there will be, on occasion, a flat soda or a soda that will be straight carbonated water. Well that is what happened, we get there order a couple sodas and enjoy those, so when our food starts to arrive, which the food was good, we order a couple more sodas, the first root beer was amazing, the second one was flat. When I told the server, she took it, she stared at me as if I were lying and said I wouldn’t be charged for it, and never offered me anything else. I would’ve gladly paid for it if she had offered me another one, so I had to choke down the hamburger steak without a drink. So disappointed… The service used to be good and the staff were friendly, but as a server, you should never make a guest feel as if they did something wrong for making you aware of an issue. I doubt I will ever return…
We still tipped them well, like 30%, only because we are servers, and also to show we didnt need anything for free…

First time here, seems like a nice place, went on a Sunday and it wasn’t very busy but the service was slow, after we got to a table and no one came around we had to go to the bar to ask for menus, the food was good but slow in coming and the server was slow, we went with some friends who had been there a couple times before and had great service, they were very disappointed also. We will probably give them another try maybe during the week, I will update after we visit again.

I drive a lot through small towns , and have always enjoyed places like this by a recommendation from a friend . Wasn’t to far off my path from Austin to Houston on some backroads , Sometimes placing the gps off highways and tolls you will find hidden gems !! But Y’all !! This is one of those Hidden Gems in the middle of nowhere where you will find the most Country feel of a place outside the city . So glad I went and ate the Ribeye that was cooked up perfect to my taste! A must try , Don’t be shy to steer of course
