I went here for a bagel. You would think spending $5 for a bagel they could at least put enough cream cheese on it to taste! Plus she never asked if I wanted it toasted…. so once I got home it was impossible to toast a bagel with cream cheese on it… VERY disappointing.

My family and I loved the warm and friendly atmosphere. The food was delicious, and they had gluten-free items clearly marked on the menu
I had the BLT on gluten-free bread and the healthy smoothie. They are a popular restaurant in the quaint downtown area, and the service was awesome.

It’s a very inviting and busy location. The food and drinks are delicious! It was the best grits bowl I’ve ever tasted. The food and drinks came out quickly as well.

My new favorite place to eat in North Carolina! I got the mango smoothie and ultimate grilled cheese for lunch. The smoothie tasted like a very sweet mango and the grilled cheese was extremely high quality. The bacon they use is also really good. Overall the food is amazing and I highly recommend anyone in the area to come here!

Service was slow, but that’s expectable these days. Waitress was nice, friendly.
The Gouda grits were pretty good! The pigs in a blanket taco was amazing. That smokey bacon with the spinach, feta and eggs was so good, especially the smokey bacon.
Nice atmosphere.

Delicious food and fantastic coffee. This coffee shop was the perfect place to meet for lunch on a weekday. Not crowded at all. Definitely a hidden gem in downtown Albemarle.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for breakfast for a while. I love their dirty chai lattes but had never had food. Today I had two eggs scrambled, two pieces of bacon, a side of mushrooms and a side of avocado. The eggs had a good taste and seemed to be seasoned well, though I did get a large chunk of shell.
The Bacon was the thin type. It had an odd taste that I couldn’t quite place. Probably not my favorite bacon but I can see where others might like it.
The avocado was fresh and delicious. It was $1.50 for the serving which was about 1/4 of an avocado.
The disappointing part of the meal was the mushrooms. I think they rang up the eggs similar to maybe a mushroom omelette and the mushrooms were extra, which I was fine with, but for $0.50. I only got four very small mushrooms. So I probably won’t get mushrooms again.
They have crepes and sandwiches here which I would like to try next time, when I’m not on a low carb diet. The Gouda grits also sound like they might be fantastic. I’ll be back time and time again for the dirty chai!

Greal local coffee shop and cafe. If you want a great cup of coffee, they have that covered. If you want a delicious breakfast, they nailed that as well. The crepes are amazing. The breakfast sandwiches are fantastic… biscuits are really good but definitely try their croissant. It’s not a traditional crescent shape, but it’s REALLY tasty and makes a great sandwich. Had both cold and hot lattes and the baristas know how to make it. The staff is super friendly and efficient. Connie is BEAUTIFUL inside and out. We were visiting from out of town, and she sat and chatted with us for quite a while. Made us feel very welcome and had great advice about what to do in the area.
