Stayed at Hotel dela Coupole and tried their breakfast. Availed the 30% discount for Accor Plus members. Good and plenty selection of food for breakfast. There’s bread, salad, fruit, cereals, yogurt, noodles, drinks and hearty meat section. Only downside was the kitchen staff and cooks does not know english, so it was hard to ask or request specific ingredients for certain dishes like omelette and noodles. Not a bad place for hotel breakfast buffet. Not worth it if you are a light eater though. Restaurant is located at the top floor of the hotel. Beautiful view outside if you go at the rooftop, you can see most of Sapa.

We dined here to celebrate New Year, so we were hoping for something memorable. Unfortunately, the food didn’t quite live up to the occasion.
We ordered several dishes based on the restaurant’s recommendations, many of which were listed as Sapa local specialties and Chef’s Signature dishes. Unfortunately, despite that positioning, none of them were memorable — even my kids found the food forgettable.
The plating was undeniably beautiful and the service was polished, but the taste, texture, and overall execution of the food were average at best. Everything looked refined on the plate, yet the flavors lacked depth and character, making the experience feel more style than substance.
The price itself wasn’t the issue. We don’t mind paying more when the food is truly satisfying. However, we paid more than twice what we spent at Red Dzao Restaurant, where we ordered more dishes and every single one was genuinely delicious, satisfying, and memorable — making the contrast in value very clear.
Chic is carried by its elegant interiors, impressive structure, and careful presentation. If you’re coming mainly for ambience and visuals, it delivers. But if food quality — especially local and signature cooking — is your priority, there are far better dining options in Sapa.

Stunning architecture and design, however their food ain’t that good.
Chic restaurant supposed to be french fine dining, how could they served frozen green peas. The menu stated local wild herbs and greens.
We ordered for house wines. Price pretty steep, around usd12 per glass. The manager couldn’t even bring the correct wine that we ordered, he kept saying that the Bordeaux that he’s holding is the Shiraz that I picked. *sweat*

the vibe is good. the hotel is up to standard. the food is so so. there is plus point and minus point. plus points: staff is up to standard (4 stars hotel), the place is nice and tidy. the food is up to the quality and presentation, the sauce is good, the view is impeccable. minus points are: the toilet is ewww (pee stained), folding chair of the wedding (just ended) with lot of noise, the staff is using the same toilet with the guest and the service forgot tompresent the ingredients of the plate while presenting it, staff talking to each other loudly! might seems unreasonable but you know when u know!

Very beautiful French restaurant on Level 10. Didn’t really like the onion soup (too salty). The buffalo salad was refreshing. The decor inside the restaurant was beautifully done. Do step outside for excellent photos with the mountains as backdrop. Service was excellent.

Chic Restaurant in Hotel de la Coupole is a standout destination for anyone seeking a visually stunning dining experience with equally impressive cuisine. The interior is breathtaking, providing a luxurious ambiance that complements the fantastic food and impeccable presentation. Each dish is a treat for the taste buds, making it easy to fall in love with the flavors. Remarkably, the prices remain affordable compared to ordinary restaurants in Singapore or Korea. The only drawback is the wine selection, which leans towards the pricey side.

Chic Restaurant in Sapa offers a luxurious and spacious dining environment with elegant decor, making it a great place to enjoy a meal. The breakfast buffet, priced around 500-550k VND per person (including tax), features a wide variety of Asian and Western dishes, both savory and sweet. While the food quality is good, some dishes are just average in flavor.
The service is excellent, with attentive and professional staff ensuring a smooth dining experience. The ambiance is refined and relaxing, perfect for a leisurely meal. The restaurant’s stylish interior and comfortable seating enhance the overall experience.
Chic Restaurant delivers a satisfying dining experience with its diverse menu, top-notch service, and elegant atmosphere. It’s a great choice for those staying in Sapa, whether for a buffet breakfast or a refined meal in a beautiful setting。

Didn’t stay at Hotel de la Coupole during our Sapa Trip, hence decided to pay the restaurant a visit. I can see why it is the top hotel in Sapa. We enjoyed the scenery of Sapa and architecture of the building over a laid back afternoon tea…

I had my Christmas dinner in Chic this year with my wife. The ambient was good, service was great especially the waiter from lobby lounge who had helped us book our buffet dinner. It was most expensive meal in Ha Noi for our treat and we were looking forward to it. Some delights and disappointment. Food was average . Especially lobster suppose to be main dish.. turn up to be slow in serving and small in size.. outstanding was the Pork Knuckle and beef. Drinks like coffee/Tea are chargeable.. that’s ridiculous. Desert was also a disappointment, no ice cream and selection for desert. Overall food is below average. We came because of friendly waiter from lobby lounge that we had a wonderful High tea on 20th Dec. Took a photo to appreciate his good service.
