This Mediterranean food can be better but unfortunately it’s not. It’s an assaulting of cuisine, came here cause I saw so many beautiful menu pictures. So I will never Not reccomend to come here if you need the best taste Lex have some of them. Lentil soup is a liquids so salty and kebabs are super rubbery. Service is slow and not friendly. Not worthy for their high prices.

I ordered ahead at this restaurant for pickup. I went in and went to the counter. An employee came from the back and looked at me and went to the back. There was another employee cooking up front. He was busy so it took a bit for him to notice me. He came over with a friendly smile and told me to enter my order into the touch screen. I told him I had already ordered online and was picking up. He looked confused and checked the touch screen on his side. He said “give me three minutes” and instructed me to have a seat. While waiting he brought me some type of snack and apologized for the wait. The food did take longer than anticipated to complete (past the time listed online and more than the three minutes that he quoted) but at least he genuinely apologized multiple times and tried to make up for it. The Sambousek was good but a bit greasy.

My husband got the mixed grill platter and I got the chicken shawarma wrap and a side of hummus. The food was delicious! The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because the toumeh (garlic sauce) was more of a garlic mayonnaise and not like the traditional garlic sauce I’m used to.
Service was great and the owner was super nice! I’ll be back to try other things on the menu!

I just had the best Kabsa (with lamb) I’ve ever had outside Saudi Arabia. It was absolutely delicious; cooked like homemade and reminded me of my mother’s Kabsa. I also tried their maʿmoul cookies and bought a pound to go. They were perfectly crispy on the outside and filled with figs—perfect with coffee. Generous and kind staff. Highly recommended!

I picked this restaurant because apart from the fact that we like Middle Eastern food, I liked the photos of the dishes. They looked clean and fancy. When we visited, our experience was the same: the restaurant is very clean (important for me) and the dishes were carefully and beautifully presented. We had the hummus, which was fresh and tasty and the chicken skewers over rice, which were very nice. The chicken was tender and juicy and the rice flavorful. Their hot tea is sweet and aromatic: perfect for the winter months. The prices are reasonable and the portions big. Overall, a great experience.

Tried World of Gourmet Sunday, 7-13. We stopped in for dinner. Because the location is next to campus, the owner shared that they are much busier during the week. We were the only ones in the place but that didn’t stop us.
The owner was an absolute gem! He treated us with so much kindness. He didn’t seem to be used to customers on Sunday nights as he appeared to be prepping for his Monday special, Chicken Mandi (spiced meat with smoked rice, a Yemeni favorite – got a small delish sample, very unique flavor). There is a heavy focus on fresh food. The owner swears by it and stands on it. This is wonderful.
We ordered the Mazza sampler for an appetizer and added an order of Dawali (stuffed grape leaves). The hummus was creamy and smooth letting the chick pea take over the flavor. The baba ganoush was solid, not bitter. The Kibbeh was packed with spiced meat, not dough with a little meat. The grape leaves were firm, warm outside and savory, tender rice inside.
I we both ordered chicken shawarma dishes, mine over rice, hers Joud’s Chicken Bowl. Basmati rice base with wonderful chicken shawarma from the vertical skewer. The shawarma flavor leaned into the turmeric and cumin flavors nicely. Tasted just like back home in Palestine. Awesome flavors.
Only small complaint is the temperature was a little toasty, but it was a warm day.
Def a must try if you like exploring Middle Eastern cuisine!

We went for dinner tonight and were blown away by the delicious flavors and variety of options! The mashawi platter with beef, chicken and kefta kebabs was phenomenal! The presentation was beautiful, great portion sizes, and the service was wonderful. Felt like we were part of the family. We finished with a hot tea and chai tea from their full coffee bar, which were also delicious. Highly recommend this family owned/run spot and will be going back again soon!

Hands down the best new spot in town! This restaurant combines Middle Eastern, Indian, and European flavors under one roof, and the result is beyond delightful. Every dish feels like it’s made with love and attention to detail. Especially the cheesecake—homemade, incredibly tasty, annd incredible portion sizes! And if you’re a coffee fan, the espresso is absolute perfection. It’s strong, smooth, and the reason I’ll be a regular at their coffee bar.
What really sets this place apart, though, is the family behind it. From the moment you walk through the doors, you’re treated like one of their own. It’s warm, welcoming, and so genuine that you feel like you’re having dinner at a close friend’s house.
The service, the environment, the FOOD—everything is spot on. I don’t usually write reviews, but this place is too good not to shout about. I fell in love with it on my first visit, and I can’t wait to see this small business thrive. Do yourself a favor and give it a try—you’ll thank me later!

The food was soooo delicious. The nice gentleman working there made my food in a timely manner and cooked it to perfection. The vegetables were fresh and everything was well seasoned. The food was probably enough for two meals but I ate it all because it was that good. I will definitely be going back.
