It was a cold and wet afternoon and we just to be passing by when we saw another Customer eating a delicious looking Bunny Chow.
We had the Lamb Sheesh Kebabs with chips and salad. It was delicious, fresh and tasty and very well spiced.
Our server who was also the Waitress was very warm and welcoming and who gave us great service.
The portions are extremely generous and the prices are very reasonable.
We will definitely be going for another visit before we return to Cape Town.
Highly recommend them if you in the area or are fortunate to live close by.

The place is halal. The have decent size menu. The location is great but there is only outside seating adjacent to the street. The staff is very helpful and kind. The prices are slightly higher for the Umhlanga rent. They also have a braai options. The bunny chow was good but smaller than I am use to. Perfectly sized for one person. I prefer a bit more heat in the bunny but for most this will be on target. Overall if you looking for a change they are a nice try.

The cuisine was absolutely delightful. We sampled their curry, which delivered a perfect harmony of spice and flavor – bold enough to tantalize the taste buds, yet merciful enough that no fire department intervention was required. A rare culinary achievement indeed!

We ordered chicken Tika, chips and roti – my family said it was juicy tender and very flavoursome. My brother and I ordered bunny – potato inside with plenty perfectly cooked pieces of meat. Bread for bunny chow was fresh served with salad. We enjoyed our meals very much.

At 10pm on a Wednesday night there are very little options available for food so I decided to try Copper Chimney Umhlanga on Uber Eats. Ordered lamb curry, rotis, garlic naan and samoosas… but apparently I accidentally selected the “half-order mystery box” option, because only half of it arrived.
The roti and Samoosas were not sent.
I called the restaurant and the response was a very reassuring: “My bad.”
Ah yes, the customer service equivalent of their delivery, half an effort matching half the order.
As for the food — the curry was so salty I’m convinced it was seasoned by Poseidon himself, the potato was harder than a Monday morning, the stains on my hands might be permanent.
Overall: 10/10 for plot twists, 0/10 for dinner.
Great if you’re craving disappointment. Not so great if you’re craving actual food.

Called and ordered the veg chowmein. The noodles were great and not spaghetti (as common with most indian chowmein options). Packed with veg and portion size was large. When i collected, food was ready and piping hot.

It is a little shop on a corner, has a bit of sitting space if you want to eat in. I found their food to be on the pricey side.
I ordered butter chicken and lamb korma for takeaway. I wasn’t happy at all. The butter chicken was not good at all horribly done, and I couldn’t eat it. The lamb Korma was not so bad but overall I just did enjoy the food.

Absolutely disappointing for the price you pay. I ordered a chicken korma, didn’t even come with rice. I got 4 pieces of chicken, carrots in a plastic bag and one random cooked potato. My husbands lamb tasted off.

Was really craving biryani, ordered it from Copper Chimney, was quite disappointed when I opened my order to what seemed more of a “Rice and Chicken” type of dish rather than biryani… Not sure if the order was mixed up or what, either way, I sat through it.
Service and atmosphere are alright though.

Besides the good food, I saw the staff arranging chairs for the workers of other establishments who finish late at night to sit on while they wait for the taxis to pick them up. Bunny was really good and so was the tikka chick
