Jocelyn’s by Sevmar is located in a strip mall but do not be deceived by it’s location. When you enter the restaurant, it is like you are magically transported to the warm tropical Mediterranean Islands! Definitely gets you out of the winter doldrums!
My buddy and I dropped by during lunch time. We ordered the Gaby’s Steak Kabob with fries, Chicken Shawarma Bowl, and the meat grape leaves as our app. Everything tasted absolutely amazing, flavorful, and fresh! The meat grape leaves app tasted 10x better than the ones from the grocery store.
Friendly staff and great customer service! I would definitely return to Jocelyn’s by Sevmar on a future drive to Methuen!

First time at this Jocelyn’s and it did not disappoint. Our server was outstanding and the food/drinks were on excellent.
Gotta start with the mezze platter…perfect representation of most things that make Mediterranean food great and this one is enough food for several people. Grape leaves and hummus were top picks so order more pita and extra hummus cause it goes quickly.
Our table had lamb kabobs, shawarma, and baked stuffed shrimp for mains. Everything was perfectly cooked with huge portions. Special shout out to the shrimp stuffing…awesome.
Can’t wait to return…

Vibe: the seating (padded seats! Bar seating and low tables), decor and music (hip / modern / groovy), lighting, so comfortable .. you can have a conversation without yelling, enough space between tables
Server: Margo is always a delight! Her energy, attention to detail, suggestions, and attentiveness are perfect!
Bar: Jolie is so welcoming and is perfect at her craft!
Kitchen: I cannot give enough praise to the quality and presentation of the food! The vibrant colors and exiting flavors! When I tell you that I got goosebumps when I had the first few bites of hummus head to toe I am not exaggerating!
The Merrimack Valley is blessed to have such a fine dining establishment and experience right here!

Finally had a chance to try this restaurant with my wife. From the moment we were greeted to the time we left we enjoyed our stay.
Staff was very nice, perhaps understaffed that night, but it was a Tuesday so probably not their fault. Our server was running all night, but kept an eye on all her tables and did a wonderful job.
I had one of their creative beverages and it was wonderful. Very tasty…
Our appetizers were presented beautifully and were wonderful.
We noticed that all the staff worked together well and made sure that all the customers were taken care of in a timely manner.

I tried Jocelyn’s by Sevmar for the first time. The food was overall good, but the baked shrimp was dry and lacked seasoning. The restaurant is very small with tight seating. The real issue was the service. The bartender kept forgetting about us, our drinks were empty for a long time, and it took forever to get the check. I also saw a nearby table ask for dressing and he never brought it. The service definitely needs improvement.

The service was great & the food was absolutely delicious. We ordered Gaby’s chicken kabob dinner…the chicken was bursting with savory flavors at every bite. Everything from the salad dressing to the cocktails were amazing! Be sure to check them out and ample parking since it’s located in a plaza.

As always the drinks and food are outstanding! Unfortunately, service was slow despite our 6pm reservation on a Friday night for a small Birthday gathering. Atmosphere, lovely and I prefer Methuen vs Salem visually and Space wise. Both deliver great food! But service at the Methuen Location felt short to my usual former Jocelyn’s and SevMar Salem locations. Will I visit again? Yes! Food is amazing! And drinks are always different keeping it interesting as well as the atmosphere! Very welcoming and excellent for a date night!
