What sets Papi’s apart from other Mexican restaurants is the atmosphere – they are always so welcoming and the service is great. The decor is attractive and it is always really clean. We love the Taco Tuesday specials – especially the shrimp tacos.

We started with chips with salsa and some white dip that was complementary and man was the white dip some kind of good. I ordered the birra tacos and the guy with me ordered the chicken fajitas. The chicken fajitas came out and smelled and looked great. The guy said they were awesome. My birra tacos were good but not as flavourable as I like them. The chocolate cake that we had for dessert stole the show! Man it was so good.

This place was fantastic from start to finish! We were greeted and seated right away, and the chips with delicious salsa and jalapeño ranch dip arrived almost immediately. Our margaritas were great (we shared a pitcher), and the food was outstanding! He had the combination fajitas, and I had the birria tacos – both were amazing. The service was excellent; our server and the rest of the staff were very attentive. We were a little worried because they had just opened and we saw another not-so-great review, but we were really impressed! We will definitely be back!

Best tasting Mexican restaurant in Carrollton! Very pleasantly surprised with this new eatery. Fast and friendly service with delicious food. Tacos Al Pastor were great by my wife got the Pollo Pablano and omg it was savory and amazing with bacon and cheese and Pablo’s. Ask for the HOT salsa. I found it to be better than the salsa they brought us. Jalapeño Ranch was fire!
I rated atmosphere only 4 stars because the lights are very bright and everything is plain white. Patch the flavor I feel the place could use some color and more relaxing mood.

The food was delicious and the drinks were strong. We all had a good laugh because they delivered ranch and salsa and had never had ranch with chips. Pictures for reference but soooo good.

Service with a smile, excellent selection, and beautiful ambience at this tucked away restaurant. I was in Carrollton for work and I’m very impressed with the food, the service, and the atmosphere pictured is the special for the day, chili Verde with bean dip as my side.

We were camping nearby and didn’t feel like cooking. We found Papi’s and read the reviews. So glad we did! We had the app sampler, deluxe nacho’s and black bean soup. They were all excellent and it was a carry out order. I can only imagine how tasty it would be in the restaurant.

We have eaten there 3 times,recommended by my grandson who eats there frequently. It is absolutely one of the best Mexican restaurants we’ve ever eaten at.The prices are very reasonable,the portions are nice,the service is top knotch.The place is super clean.Best place to eat in Carrollton by far.Try it out you will not be dissapointed
