No wait on a Friday at 5p. Clean atmosphere. I ordered the pork ribeye with veggies and rice. We also got the pimento cheese with chips. I made the waitress aware of my dietary restrictions and she is very understanding and helped me make an informed decision. My husband also enjoyed his food. The food came up fast in our glasses were never empty.

Plenty of inside outside seating. The food did not lose quality in opening of this new location. The Happy Hour $5 dollar burger and fries is the best deal in town. $4 pints as well 3-6pm. Check it out.

My girlfriend and I ate there last night and we really enjoyed it. My girlfriend had the shrimp and grits and I had the steak sandwich with hand cut fries. Our meal was delicious, the service was great, and it has awesome atmosphere. We will definitely come back to Avenue pub again. I definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to try it.

Not at all impressed by my fish sandwich, which consisted of two frozen Mrs. Paul’s fish fillets that had been fried up and put on a bun. Don’t coat the brioche bun with oil, use fresh fish that has been hand-breaded and seasoned, and then you might have a sandwich worth the $15 you charge for it. The side salad was good-sized and the blueberry vinaigrette dressing was tasty, which is why I rated the food at 2 stars instead of 1. The restaurant itself has no windows and is dimly lit so it is a bit cave-like, but spacious. The service was great.

The food is great just like the downtown location. It has not been open long, but get ready to wait. We arrived at 11:09 AM for lunch at it was a 20 minute wait. There were a lot of empty tables, so I take it the wait was due to a lack of staff. The servers are still learning and the kitchen crew is slow as our total time at our table was barely under one hour, so start to finish lunch took just under one hour and 20 minutes. The atmosphere needs more character. For a restaurant in a neighborhood location they missed the mark by not making it a family friendly restaurant. The majority of the seating is for the two bars, or outside. The main dining area is minimal by comparison to the space allocated to the bars. There is not a kid’s menu, but if you ask, they have a grilled cheese or they will make the chicken tenders without the beer batter. Huge miss. I gave it 3 stars because the food is great, but they have a lot to fix, and I really hope they realize they are in a neighborhood area with lots of families that would like to dine there. I don’t know how they add more seating that is not in the bar, but they can at least add a kid’s menu. I hope they figure it out soon.
