I had not been to the Zoo in many years but I had a wonderful time with my wife and old friends. It wasn’t too crowded so we didn’t feel cramped and the bar tenders were attentive. It’s great for a small group especially on an “off night” so not Friday or Saturday night, if you are looking to have fun but not the crowds.

The staff is friendly, there is always good music playing. The beer selection has about 11 taps, and always something special if not rare available. Free pool downstairs. If you love a neighborhood dive, you’ll love the Zoo.

Best beer tap in town. They have a wide variety of both local and national beer. Good mixed drinks and very reasonable prices. Popcorn and pizza in case you get hungry during a late night drink.
