Me and my girlfriends met up here last night and were we glad we did. What a nice little gem.
We all had the meatloaf and our choice of sides. Everything was delicious! My collard greens hit the spot for real! Our waitress was super sweet and very attentive. The prices were very reasonable. We will definitely be back!

Hasperges needs fries Snarf
The food is exquisite, Chef Lee has different specials on different days of the week, don’t be afraid to ask! Always check that chalkboard at the entrance to the dining area to see what’s new and what Oysters they have in that day. My personal favorites are the hellfire burger, texas muffaletta pannini, Jive ass turkey sandwich, and, of course, the atchafalaya. The hellfire is a perfectly juicy blend of crisp veggies and a bit of heat brought in by the fried jalapeños called “bottlecaps” and spicy bbq sauce. The pannini is spicy as well, made with signature “boom sauce,” olive tamponade, pepper jack cheese, and Italian meats that melt together in the most wonderful of ways. The Jive ass turkey is my absolute favorite as it is somehow a REFRESHING sandwich; a perfect pairing of caramelized pepper jelly and the fried green tomatoes, I literally cannot do this sandwich justice with my words alone, it speaks for itself. Then comes the atchafalaya, now she is not just a queen of a dish, she is an empress. The fried catfish smothered in Chef Lee’s Etouffee with a dash of spice gives my little heart a taste of Cajun cuisine I didn’t know I was missing! An honorable mention would definitely have to be the catfish po-boy. Made with tartar sauce, sweet and spicy butter pickles, and the to die for fried catfish you can’t find anywhere else in Linden.
Pictured is the catfish po-boy, atchafalaya, and my personal favorite drink the “Michaela Sunrise” a double tequila sunrise made with pineapple juice and a sugar rim, beloved by one of the cooks. The bartender Jess is always coming up with creative new drink specials, Eddie is a kind, wise, friendly soul (and he runs karaoke nights on Saturdays), and Lauren is downright the sweetest person you will ever meet. I personally frequent the bar most often, but I can tell you the place gets quite swanky in the dining room come Friday and Saturday nights, with the best service anyone could ask for! 10/10 would recommend.

The food here is absolutely amazing! The staff and the chef go above and beyond to make sure every dish is prepared to perfection. You can truly tell they care about the quality of the food and the experience of their guests. Highly recommend!

We are camping at Atlanta State Park and found this place and what a small town treasure! Had the Crawfish Ettouffe and it was SO GOOD! Great staff and great food. You can tell they cook with love and passion! Thank yall!! ️

Jasmine was super sweet. The food was great, but the chefs attitude sucked. I could hear her complaining about me while sitting in the very front of the restaurant. Most of the sandwiches on the menu show what they came with, so I didn’t even think about the smoked bologna sandwhich being covered in mustard. Totally my fault. I asked for new toast, that I would gladly pay for. I have a level of hate for mustard and just can’t stomach it. The chef complied while complaining, and Jasmine brought me toast. I wiped off the mustard and finished that amazing sandwich.
The truffle fries were some of the best I’ve had. Seriously delicious and worth every bite.
I wouldn’t come back here simply because of the Chefs attitude. It’s okay though, since I’m not from here and was here on a work trip, I know she was curious since she even said, “I don’t even know who she is”. Lol. Maybe other out of towners will have better luck.

The reviews are not inflated in the least. Awesome place with some of the genuinely nicest wait staff. I thought the crawfish etouffee was the best thing on the menu, until I tasted the blackened snapper my wife ordered, unbelievably good. Kind of a detour, but we will be back. Thank you

This place has the best seafood gumbo I’ve ever had! Do not walk, RUN to Fire & Knives when you see that Chef Lee has gumbo on the menu. And let me not forget to mention the Pork Ribeye smothered in Hatch green chili cream sauce. O. M. G.!! Do not miss out on that opportunity.
