The food was amazing nothing like that city feeling,the wait was a bit long but they did have alot of people coming ordering buckets of chicken. So with that we expected to have a wait. you had some people being really impatient but the food was worth the wait and the workers did a excellent job they were packed but they held it down. Will definitely be going back to support keep the good food coming. Oh and i must say the owner was very active with customers as well he showed great appreciation to people being understanding to wait times.

First time eating here today. Food was great. The meat of the chicken wings fell right off the bone. The only complaint I have is I ordered too much food! I got the ten piece wing dinner I was expecting baby wings. Those things were huge! I tried the sauce the worker recommended and it was amazing.

The food was spectacular. The service seemed as if the person did not want to be there. The atmosphere was very poor. The outside was cooler than the inside in August, no A C. The eating area outside was dirty and mostly covered in pigeon droppings . Take it to go. The food was worth it

Man this place is amazing. Streator is blessed to have this restaurant in town. Everything is always made fresh. There are endless selections of chicken, fish, dinners, and interesting side dishes. When it comes to the sides the only thing that can be said is they should find a way to have the greens all year long. My chicken was hot, tasty, and prepared very well. You can believe I will be back to eat here!

The staff were excellent and very welcoming and made me feel like a part of the Chicago style restaurant with just my to-go order! The Catfish, Perch, and Shrimp combo with option of lemon pepper seasoning and mild sauce was fresh and delicious, hot and tender. The slaw was awesome and the fries were filling and butter flavored very good!

My wife & I traveled from Normal,Il on our 31st wedding anniversary & we were not disappointed! The food was excellent, the staff was friendly, & we will go there again. I don’t eat okra , but the wife does. She got an order & I ate about 8 pieces of fried okra & enjoyed it!!! Try the fried green tomatoes also… they’re the BOMB!!!

Once was enough for me. Soggy limp greasy fries. Over cooked greasy chicken. Not at all what I expected. Kroger chicken is 10 times better with a very good coating. The place is an absolute filthy mess. Tables out front are all full of someone else’s food crumbs and never get cleaned.
