Clean and cozy Asian egg noodle spot with very friendly and welcoming elderly owners.

I ordered Hủ Tiếu Mì Á Đông Khô (Dried version) with small egg noodles and large hủ tiếu (Highly recommended order like me) The noodles were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The soup on the side perfectly seasoned.

Don’t forget to eat it with quẩy (Chinese fried dough) it makes the whole dish even better. I’m a big fan of this traditional Chinese-style egg noodle, and this place nailed it. 10/10.

I also ordered Rau Má juice and Vietnamese iced coffee, both were quite good as well.

Good food!

The menu has decent options and I found the place to be a lot better than some previous restaurants that we’ve been to. I highly recommend getting the dầu cháo quẩy, mì, hủ tiếu, and mì xào giòn. Each mì and hủ tiếu bowl comes with a shrimp cracker.

* Dầu Cháo Quẩy: 9/10 – nice crisp and flavor but oily
* Mì Tôm Chiên: 7/10 – combination was interesting
* Mì Hải Vị: 9/10 – plenty of seafood
* Hủ Tiếu Mì Á Đông: 9/10 – good variations of meat and seafood
* Mì Xào Mềm Bò Mực: 7/10 – liked the flavor but think the fried egg noodle would’ve been better

I enjoyed my meal and would come back again, but there are a couple of things that I think are important to keep in mind:
– It’s CASH ONLY
– Some items on the menu didn’t have a price so it’s a mystery when you pay the bill

The workers were attentive and the place had plenty of tables. It’s located in the popular Fountain Valley Town Center so there’s always plenty of parking.

Be sure to stop by!

It’s a small mom and pop restaurant. Service was quick and food was good. Nothing to rave about but not bad. Solid noodle dishes.

My wife and I have dinner at MI A Dong nearly every Thursday. The Vietnamese food selection is not the widest we’ve experienced, but there is a reasonable pick of noodle (soft or crispy) and rice dishes, plus a menu section for Pho and a short list of vegetarian plates.
The best feature of this relatively small restaurant is the friendly service. The delightful owner goes out of her way to make sure you are satisfied with every aspect of your meal. Our first visit to her place we weren’t able to finish the generous portion served and she suggested we order the small size next time; a seemingly small thing, but her advice was sincere and meant to insure our satisfaction. My Vietnamese wife enjoys chatting with the owner when she’s not busy and this serves to enhance the friendly and welcoming atmosphere you will discover at MI A Dong.

Just my type of place. Very understated, sweet owners, fast service, good food. I ordered the Mi A Dong (known as Mi la cay in other places) and it really scratched that craving itch since it’s not a popular dish and harder to find. Super flavorful. I loved it.

We had the dried noodles specials. Each came out with a piece of boiled chicken that must have sat around for many hours and a few slices of equally old and dried pork.
The waiter/owner(?) did not want to be there at all when he came to the table to take our order. There were three of us, and he was not happy when he heard only I ordered soda.
Just bad foods and poor services overall. It’s definitely not a comeback for us.

Very good. Broth is great. This is more or less Vietnamese ramen. The portions are good for the price. I m a big dude and is filled with a regular bowl. Only negative is the place looks unorganized and slightly dirty when I was there so can’t really give perfect score. I will be eating here quite often
